1Бог каза още на Моисей: Изкачете се на планината на ГОСПОДА, ти и Аарон, Надав и Авиуд, и седемдесет от израилските старейшини, и се поклонете отдалеч; (Изх 1:5; Изх 28:1; Лев 10:1; Лев 10:2; Чис 11:16)2само Моисей ще се приближи до ГОСПОДА, а те няма да се приближат, нито народът ще се изкачи с него. (Изх 24:13; Изх 24:15; Изх 24:18)3Тогава Моисей дойде и каза на народа всички слова и закони на ГОСПОДА; и целият народ едногласно отговори: Всичко, което е казал ГОСПОД, ще вършим. (Изх 19:8; Изх 24:7; Вт 5:27; Гал 3:19; Гал 3:20)4И Моисей написа всички ГОСПОДНИ слова; а на сутринта, като стана рано, издигна жертвеник под планината, където изправи и дванадесет стълба според дванадесетте израилски племена. 1Then he said to Moses, “Come up to the LORD, you and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship from afar. He rose early in the morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel. (Бит 28:18; Бит 31:45; Вт 31:9)5And he sent young men of the people of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the LORD.6And Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he threw against the altar. Whoever has a dispute, let him go to them.” (Изх 17:10; Изх 17:12; Изх 31:2)15Then Moses went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. (Изх 19:9; Изх 19:16; Мт 17:5)16The glory of the LORD dwelt on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. (Изх 16:10; Лев 9:23; Чис 14:10; Чис 16:42)17Now the appearance of the glory of the LORD was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the sight of the people of Israel. (Изх 3:2; Изх 19:18; Вт 4:36; Евр 12:18; Евр 12:29)18Moses entered the cloud and went up on the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
