1-2 Да те чуе Господ в скръбен ден, да те защити името на Бога Иаковов. (Пс 17:7) 3 Да ти прати помощ от светилището и от Сион да те подкрепи. 4 Да си спомни всички твои жертвени приноси и твоето всесъжение да направи тучно. 5 Да ти даде (Господ), каквото ти сърце желае, и всички твои намерения да изпълни. (Пс 20:3; Ис 41:16) 6 Ще се зарадваме за твоето спасение и в името на нашия Бог ще издигнем знаме. Да изпълни Господ всички твои молби. (2 Цар 8:6) 7 Сега познах, че Господ спасява Своя помазаник, отговаря му от светите Си небеса с мощта на Своята спасяваща десница. 8 Едни – с колесници, други – с коне, а ние с името на Господа, нашия Бог, се хвалим; (4 Цар 19:23) 9 те се поколебаха и паднаха, а ние станахме и стоим прави. 10 Господи, спаси царя и чуй ни, когато викаме (към Тебе)!

1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above[1] proclaims his handiwork. (Пс 50:6; Рим 1:19) 2 Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. 3 There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. 4 Their voice[2] goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun, (Екл 1:5; Ис 28:10; Рим 10:18) 5 which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy. (Съд 5:31; Йоил 2:16) 6 Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat. 7 The law of the Lord is perfect,[3] reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; (Изх 25:16; Пс 23:3; Пс 78:5; Пс 111:7; Пс 119:130; Пр 1:4; Мт 11:25; Рим 7:12; 1 Кор 1:27; 2 Тим 3:15; 2 Тим 3:16) 8 the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; (Пс 12:6; Пс 13:3; Пс 103:18; Пс 111:7; Пс 119:4; Пс 119:27) 9 the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the rules[4] of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether. (Пс 119:142; Пс 119:151; Пс 119:160) 10 More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. (Йов 28:17; Пс 119:72; Пс 119:103; Пс 119:127; Пр 8:10; Пр 8:19; Пр 16:24) 11 Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward. (Пр 29:18) 12 Who can discern his errors? Declare me innocent from hidden faults. (Лев 4:2; Чис 15:27; Йов 34:32; Пс 40:12; Пс 90:8; 1 Кор 4:4) 13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression. (Бит 20:6; Чис 15:30; 1 Цар 25:33; 1 Цар 25:39; Пс 119:133; Рим 6:12; Рим 6:14) 14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
