Псалм 106

1 Славете Господа, защото е благ, защото е вечна милостта Му! (Юд 16:1) 2 Тъй да кажат избавените от Господа, които Той избави от вража ръка (Пс 105:10) 3 и събра от страните, от изток и запад, от север и от морето. 4 Те скитаха в пустинята по безлюден път и не намираха населен град; (Евр 11:9; Евр 11:37; Евр 13:14) 5 търпяха глад и жажда, душата им чезнеше в тях. 6 Но в скръбта си викнаха към Господа, и Той ги избави от техните неволи (Пс 21:6) 7 и ги поведе по правия път, за да вървят към населен град. 8 Да славят Господа за милостта Му и за чудните Му дела към синовете човешки: 9 защото Той насити жадна душа и душа гладна изпълни с блага. (Пс 33:11; Пс 144:15) 10 Те седяха в тъма и смъртна сянка, оковани с тъга и желязо; (Йов 36:8) 11 защото се не покоряваха на думите Божии и нехаеха за волята на Всевишния. 12 Той смири тяхното сърце с мъки; те се препънаха, и нямаше кой да им помогне. (4 Цар 14:26) 13 Тогава в скръбта си викнаха към Господа, и Той ги спаси от неволите им; 14 изведе ги от тъмата и смъртната сянка и разкъса оковите им. 15 Да славят Господа за милостта Му и за чудните Му дела към синовете човешки; 16 защото Той строши медните порти и сломи железните заворки. (Пс 115:7; Ис 45:2; Наум 1:13) 17 Безразсъдните страдаха заради беззаконните си пътища и за неправдите си; 18 от всяка храна се отвръщаше душата им, и те се приближаваха към вратата на смъртта. (Йов 33:20) 19 Тогава в скръбта си викнаха към Господа, и Той ги спаси от неволите им; 20 прати Своето слово, изцели ги и ги избави от техните гробове. (Прем 16:12) 21 Да славят Господа за милостта Му и за чудните Му дела към синовете човешки! 22 Да Му принасят хвалебна жертва и да разгласят делата Му с пение! (Пс 49:14; Пс 115:8) 23 Ония, които тръгват по море на кораби, които имат работа в големите води – 24 виждат делата на Господа и чудесата Му в дълбините: (Сир 43:26) 25 Той каже – и настава бурен вятър и високо издига морските вълни; (Йона 1:4; Мт 8:24) 26 възлизат до небесата, слизат до бездната; душата им чезне в неволя; 27 те се въртят, политат като пияни, и всичката им мъдрост изчезва. (Ис 29:14; Ез 7:26) 28 Тогава в скръбта си викнаха към Господа, и Той ги изведе из неволите им. 29 Той превръща бурята в тишина, и вълните замлъкват. (Мт 14:32) 30 И се радват, че те са утихнали, и Той ги довежда на желаното пристанище. 31 Да славят Господа за милостта Му и за чудните Му дела към синовете човешки! 32 Да Го възхвалят в събранието народно и да Го славят в сбора на старейшините! 33 Той превръща реки в пустиня, и водни извори – в суша, 34 земя плодородна – в солница, за нещастие на тия, които живеят на нея. (3 Цар 17:1; Йоил 1:10) 35 Той превръща пустиня в езеро, и сухоземица – във водни извори; (Ис 41:18) 36 и заселва там гладни, и те строят град за живеене; 37 засяват ниви, насаждат лозя, които им принасят обилни плодове. 38 Той ги благославя, и те се твърде размножават, и добитъкът им Той не намалява. 39 Те намаляха и изнемогнаха от угнетение, неволя и скръб, – (Пс 43:5) 40 Той излива безчестие над князете и ги оставя да скитат в пустинята, дето няма пътища. (Йов 12:21) 41 А бедния извлича от неволя, и умножава рода му като овче стадо. (1 Цар 2:8) 42 Праведните виждат това и се радват, а всяко нечестие затуля устата си. (Йов 5:16; Йов 22:19) 43 Който е мъдър, ще забележи това и ще разбере милостта Господня. (Вт 32:29; Ер 9:12)

1 Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! (1 Лет 16:34; 1 Лет 16:41; Пс 100:5; Пс 105:1; Пс 105:45) 2 Who can utter the mighty deeds of the Lord, or declare all his praise? 3 Blessed are they who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times! (Пс 15:2) 4 Remember me, O Lord, when you show favor to your people; help me when you save them,[1] (Пс 119:132) 5 that I may look upon the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance. (Пс 105:6; Пс 105:43) 6 Both we and our fathers have sinned; we have committed iniquity; we have done wickedness. (Лев 26:40; 3 Цар 8:47; Езд 9:6; Неем 1:6; Неем 9:16; Пс 79:8; Ер 3:25; Ер 14:20; Дан 9:5) 7 Our fathers, when they were in Egypt, did not consider your wondrous works; they did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love, but rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea. (Изх 14:11; Пс 106:13; Пс 106:21) 8 Yet he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make known his mighty power. (Изх 9:16; Ез 20:9; Ез 20:14) 9 He rebuked the Red Sea, and it became dry, and he led them through the deep as through a desert. (Изх 14:21; Пс 18:15; Пс 104:7; Ис 50:2; Ис 51:10; Ис 63:13) 10 So he saved them from the hand of the foe and redeemed them from the power of the enemy. (Изх 14:30; Пс 107:2) 11 And the waters covered their adversaries; not one of them was left. (Изх 14:28; Изх 15:5) 12 Then they believed his words; they sang his praise. (Изх 14:31; Изх 15:1) 13 But they soon forgot his works; they did not wait for his counsel. (Изх 15:24; Изх 16:2; Изх 17:2; Пс 78:11; Пс 107:11) 14 But they had a wanton craving in the wilderness, and put God to the test in the desert; (Изх 17:2; Чис 11:4; Пс 78:18; 1 Кор 10:6; 1 Кор 10:9) 15 he gave them what they asked, but sent a wasting disease among them. (Пс 78:29; Ис 10:16) 16 When men in the camp were jealous of Moses and Aaron, the holy one of the Lord, (Чис 16:1; Вт 33:2; Зах 14:5; Юда 1:14) 17 the earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram. (Чис 16:31; Вт 11:6) 18 Fire also broke out in their company; the flame burned up the wicked. (Чис 16:35) 19 They made a calf in Horeb and worshiped a metal image. (Изх 32:4; Вт 9:8; Д А 7:41) 20 They exchanged the glory of God[2] for the image of an ox that eats grass. (Ер 2:11; Рим 1:23) 21 They forgot God, their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt, (Вт 32:18; Пс 78:11; Пс 106:7; Пс 106:13) 22 wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome deeds by the Red Sea. (Пс 78:51; Пс 105:23; Пс 105:27) 23 Therefore he said he would destroy them— had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him, to turn away his wrath from destroying them. (Изх 32:10; Вт 9:14; Пс 105:6; Ез 20:8; Ез 22:30) 24 Then they despised the pleasant land, having no faith in his promise. (Чис 14:31; Вт 1:32; Вт 9:23; Зах 7:14) 25 They murmured in their tents, and did not obey the voice of the Lord. (Чис 14:2; Вт 1:27) 26 Therefore he raised his hand and swore to them that he would make them fall in the wilderness, (Изх 6:8; Чис 14:30; Вт 32:40; Пс 95:11; Ез 20:6; Ез 20:15; Ез 20:23) 27 and would make their offspring fall among the nations, scattering them among the lands. (Пс 44:11) 28 Then they yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor, and ate sacrifices offered to the dead; (Чис 25:3; Ис 8:19; Ос 9:10) 29 they provoked the Lord to anger with their deeds, and a plague broke out among them. 30 Then Phinehas stood up and intervened, and the plague was stayed. (Чис 25:7) 31 And that was counted to him as righteousness from generation to generation forever. (Бит 15:6; Чис 25:10) 32 They angered him at the waters of Meribah, and it went ill with Moses on their account, (Чис 20:2; Вт 1:37) 33 for they made his spirit bitter,[3] and he spoke rashly with his lips. (Чис 20:10; Пс 78:40; Пс 107:11; Ис 63:10) 34 They did not destroy the peoples, as the Lord commanded them, (Вт 7:2; Вт 7:16; Съд 1:21; Съд 1:27; Съд 2:2) 35 but they mixed with the nations and learned to do as they did. (Съд 3:5; Езд 9:2) 36 They served their idols, which became a snare to them. (Изх 23:33; Вт 7:16; Съд 2:3) 37 They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons; (Вт 32:17; 4 Цар 16:3; Ис 57:5; Ез 16:20; Ез 20:26; 1 Кор 10:20) 38 they poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood. (Ис 24:5) 39 Thus they became unclean by their acts, and played the whore in their deeds. (Пс 73:27; Ез 20:18; Ез 20:30) 40 Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against his people, and he abhorred his heritage; (Съд 2:14; Пс 28:9; Пс 78:59; Пс 78:62) 41 he gave them into the hand of the nations, so that those who hated them ruled over them. (Неем 9:27) 42 Their enemies oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their power. (Съд 4:3; Съд 10:12) 43 Many times he delivered them, but they were rebellious in their purposes and were brought low through their iniquity. (Лев 26:39; Съд 2:16; Пс 81:12) 44 Nevertheless, he looked upon their distress, when he heard their cry. (Съд 3:9; Съд 4:3; Съд 6:7; Съд 10:10) 45 For their sake he remembered his covenant, and relented according to the abundance of his steadfast love. (Лев 26:42; Пс 51:1; Пс 69:16; Пс 90:13; Пс 105:8; Пс 106:7; Ис 63:7; П Ер 3:32) 46 He caused them to be pitied by all those who held them captive. (3 Цар 8:50; 2 Лет 30:9; Езд 9:9; Неем 1:11; Ер 42:12) 47 Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise. (1 Лет 16:35; Пс 107:3) 48 Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! And let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the Lord! (Пс 41:13; Пс 104:35)
