1 Poďte, zpívejme Hospodinu, prokřikujme skále spasení našeho. 

2 Předejděme oblíčej jeho s díkčiněním, žalmy prozpěvujme jemu. 

3 Nebo Hospodin jest Bůh veliký, a král veliký nade všecky bohy, 

4 V jehož rukou základové země, a vrchové hor jeho jsou. 

5 Jehož jest i moře, nebo on je učinil, i země, kterouž ruce jeho sformovaly. 

6 Poďte, sklánějme se, a padněme před ním, klekejme před Hospodinem stvořitelem naším. 

7 Onť jest zajisté Bůh náš, a my jsme lid pastvy jeho, a stádo rukou jeho. Dnes uslyšíte-li hlas jeho, 

8 Nezatvrzujte srdce svého, jako při popuzení, a v den pokušení na poušti, 

9 Kdežto pokoušeli mne otcové vaši, zkusiliť jsou mne, a viděli skutky mé. 

10 Za čtyřidceti let měl jsem nesnáz s národem tím, a řekl jsem: Lid tento bloudí srdcem, a nepoznali cest mých. 

11 Jimž jsem přisáhl v hněvě svém, že nevejdou v odpočinutí mé.

Let Us Sing Songs of Praise

1 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! (Ž 66,1; Ž 89,26; Ž 94,22) 

2 Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! (Ž 95,1; Mi 6,6) 

3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. (2Pa 2,5; Ž 86,8; Ž 93,4; Ž 96,4; Ž 97,9; Ž 135,5) 

4 In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. 

5 The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. (Gn 1,9; Jon 1,9) 

6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! (Dt 32,6; Dt 32,15; Dt 32,18; 2Pa 6,13; Ž 100,3; Ž 149,2; Da 6,10)
