1Běda mně, že jsem jako paběrek úrod letních, jako paběrkové po vinobraní. Není žádného hroznu k jídlu, prvotiny z ovoce žádá duše má.2Zahynul pobožný z země této, a upřímého mezi lidmi není žádného; všickni napořád o vylití krve úklady činí, jeden každý bratra svého loví sítí.3Co zlého oběma rukama páchají, to aby za dobré počteno bylo. Kníže žádá, a soudce z úplatku soudí, a kdož veliký jest, ten mluví převrácenost duše své, a v hromadu ji pletou.4Nejlepší z nich jest jako bodlák, nejupřímější převyšuje trní. Přicházíť den strážných tvých, navštívení tvé přichází; jižť nastane zpletení jejich.5Nedověřujte se příteli, nedoufejte v vůdce; před tou, jenž leží v lůnu tvém, ostříhej dveří úst svých.6Nebo syn v lehkost uvodí otce, dcera povstává proti mateři své, nevěsta proti svegruši své, a nepřátelé jednoho každého jsou vlastní jeho.7Protož já na Hospodina vyhlédati budu, očekávati budu na Boha spasení svého, vyslyšíť mne Bůh můj.8Neraduj se ze mne, nepřítelkyně má. Upadla-liť jsem, povstanu; sedím-liť v temnostech, svítí mi Hospodin.9Zůřivost Hospodinovu ponesu, nebo jsem proti němu zhřešila, až se vždy zasadí o mou při, a mne zastane. Vyvedeť mne na světlo, budu viděti spravedlnost jeho.10Uzříť to nepřítelkyně má, a přikryje ji hanba, ješto mi říká: Kdež jest Hospodin Bůh tvůj? — Svévole a rozklad - Bezbožnost přináší rozvrat i nejbližších lidských vztahů. Záchrana je jenom v Bohu.

Všichni strojí vražedné úklady, jeden druhého do sítě loví. 3 Oběma rukama páchají zlo pro svůj prospěch, velmož i soudce úplatky vymáhají, mocný mluví, jak se mu zachce; a všechno zpřevracejí. 4 Nejlepší z nich je jak potměchuť, nejpoctivější jako plot z trní. Přichází den, který vyhlíželi tvoji proroci, den tvého navštívení; již nastává mezi nimi rozruch. 5 Nevěřte bližnímu, nespoléhejte na přítele; před tou, jež uléhá po tvém boku, se střez otevřít ústa. 6 Syn tupí otce, dcera povstává proti matce, snacha proti tchyni; každý má nepřátele ve vlastním domě. 7 Ale já budu vyhlížet k Hospodinu, čekat na Boha, který mě spasí. Můj Bůh mě vyslyší.
KDO JE JAKO BŮH? - — Hospodin světlem lidu - Hospodin vyvýší ponížený a pokorný lid.
8 „Neraduj se nade mnou, má nepřítelkyně! Padla-li jsem, povstanu, sedím-li ve tmě, mým světlem je Hospodin. 9 Chci nést Hospodinův hrozný hněv, neboť jsem proti němu hřešila, dokud on neurovná můj spor a nezjedná mi právo. Vyvede mě na světlo a uzřím jeho spravedlnost. 10 Má nepřítelkyně to uvidí a pokryje ji hanba. To je ta, která mi říká: ‚Kde je Hospodin, tvůj Bůh?‘ Na vlastní oči ji spatřím, až bude pošlapána jak bláto na ulicích.“ 11 To bude den budování tvých zdí. Onoho dne se rozšíří tvé hranice. 12 Bude to den, kdy přijdou k tobě z Asýrie a egyptských měst, od Egypta až k řece Eufratu, od moře k moři, od hory k hoře. 13 Ale země bude zpustošena kvůli svým obyvatelům, pro ovoce jejich skutků.
— Hospodin dárcem odpuštění - Milosrdný Bůh se zase přizná ke svému lidu a zahanbí nepřátele.
14 Pas berlou svou svůj lid, ovce dědictví svého, ty, který sám jediný přebýváš v lesní divočině na Karmelu. Ať se pasou v Bášanu a Gileádu jako za dnů odvěkých, 15 jako za dnů, kdy jsi vycházel z egyptské země. Ukáži lidu podivuhodné věci. 16 Spatří to pronárody a zastydí se za všechno své siláctví. Přiloží ruku na ústa, uši jim ohluchnou. 17 Prach budou lízat jako had; jako zeměplazi polezou ve zmatku ze svých hradišť. Se strachem se budou obracet k Hospodinu, našemu Bohu. Tebe se budou bát. 18 Kdo je Bůh jako ty, který snímá nepravost, promíjí nevěrnost pozůstatku svého dědictví! Nesetrvává ve svém hněvu, neboť si oblíbil milosrdenství. 19 Opět se nad námi slituje, rozšlape naše nepravosti. Do mořských hlubin vhodíš všechny jejich hříchy, 20 prokážeš věrnost Jákobovi, milosrdenství Abrahamovi, jak jsi za dnů pradávných přísahal našim otcům.
1Běda mi! Jsem jako sběrač po vinobraní, jak ten, kdo paběrkuje po sklizni – nezůstal ani hrozen k ochutnání, ani jeden vytoužený zralý fík!2Zbožní ze země vyhynuli, jediný člověk není poctivý. Všichni číhají, jak by vraždili, každý svého bratra lapá do sítí.3Obě ruce mají ke zlu šikovné; úředník i soudce berou úplatek, mocný poroučí, co si zamane, a všichni kují pikle.4Nejlepší z nich je jako trní, poctivec horší než plot z bodláčí. Už přichází ten vyhlížený den – den, kdy se s tebou zúčtuje! Teď přijde zmatek nad zmatek!5Nespoléhejte na bližní, nevěřte ani příteli, chraň se svá ústa otevřít i před ženou, co máš v náručí!6Syn pohrdá svým otcem, dcera se staví proti matce, snacha své tchyni vzdoruje – člověk má nepřátele ve vlastní rodině.7Já ale Hospodina vyhlížím, čekám na Boha – on mě zachrání, můj Bůh mě vyslyší!
Mým světlem je Hospodin
8Nejásej, nepříteli, nade mnou – i když jsem padl, povstanu! I když teď sedím vprostřed tmy, mým světlem je Hospodin.9Proti Hospodinu hřešil jsem, a proto nesu jeho hněv, dokud se mého sporu neujme a neobhájí mě. Vyvede mě znovu na světlo a spatřím jeho spravedlnost.10Až to uvidí můj nepřítel, hanba ho přikryje – toho, který mi říkával: „Kdepak je Hospodin, ten tvůj Bůh?“ Na vlastní oči se podívám, až ho jak bláto na ulicích rozdupou!11Bude to den obnovy tvých zdí, den, kdy se tvé meze rozšíří;12den, kdy připutují až k vám z Asýrie i z měst Egypta, ze zemí od Egypta až po Eufrat, od moře k moři a od hor k horám.13Země se však stane pustinou kvůli svým obyvatelům; to bude ovoce jejich skutků.
Kdo je jako ty?
14Svou holí pas svůj lid, stádo, jež je tvým dědictvím. Ať žijí sami v zarostlé krajině, uprostřed země podobné zahradě. Ať se pasou v Bášanu i Gileádu jako za dávných dnů!15„Jako tehdy, když jste opustili Egypt, ukážu vám své zázraky.“16Ať se národy zastydí, až to uvidí, ať jsou zbaveni vší odvahy! Ať si ústa rukou přikryjí, ať jim ohluchnou uši!17Ať lížou prach jako had, jako nějaký zeměplaz! Ať lezou s chvěním ze svých děr k Hospodinu, našemu Bohu, s děsem, ať z tebe mají bázeň!18Kdo je Bůh jako ty? Kdo odpouští viny a hřích promíjí pozůstatku svého dědictví? Nezůstáváš rozhněvaný navždycky, neboť sis milosrdenství oblíbil.19Znovu se nad námi slituješ, naše provinění pošlapeš, všechny naše hříchy smeteš hluboko do moře!20Projevíš svou věrnost Jákobovi, své milosrdenství Abrahamovi, jak jsi přísahal našim otcům tehdy za starodávných dnů.[1]

Jerusalems Zuversicht
8Freu dich nicht über mich, meine Feindin! / Zwar liege ich am Boden, doch ich stehe wieder auf.
Zwar sitze ich in der Finsternis, / aber der HERR ist mein Licht. (J 8,12)9Den Zorn des HERRN muss ich tragen, / denn ich habe gegen ihn gesündigt;
bis er meinen Rechtsstreit vertritt / und mir Recht verschafft.
Er wird mich hinausführen ins Licht, / ich werde seine Gerechtigkeit schauen. (Iz 53,11)10Meine Feindin wird es sehen / und Scham wird sie bedecken,
sie, die zu mir spricht: / Wo ist der HERR, dein Gott?
Meine Augen werden auf sie schauen.

Wiederaufbau der Stadt
11Es kommt der Tag, an dem man deine Mauern wieder aufbaut, / der Tag, an dem deine Grenzen sich weiten.12An jenem Tag wird man zu dir kommen, / von Assur bis Ägypten
und von Ägypten bis zum Eufrat, / von einem Meer zum andern und von einem Gebirge zum andern.13Die Erde aber wird zur Öde / wegen ihrer Bewohner als Frucht ihrer Taten.
