1Mluvil ještě Hospodin k Mojžíšovi na hoře Sinai, řka:2Mluv synům Izraelským a rci jim: Když vejdete do země, kterouž já dávám vám, odpočívati bude země, nebo sobota jest Hospodinova.3Šest let osívati budeš rolí svou, a šest let obřezovati budeš vinici svou a sbírati úrody její.4Sedmého pak léta sobotu odpočinutí bude míti země, sobotu Hospodinovu; nebudeš na poli svém síti a vinice své řezati.5Což se samo od sebe zrodí obilí tvého, nebudeš toho žíti, a hroznů vinice zanechané od tebe nebudeš sbírati. Rok odpočinutí bude míti země.6Ale ovoce země toho odpočinutí budete míti ku pokrmu, ty i služebník tvůj, i děvka tvá, i nájemník tvůj, i příchozí tvůj, kterýž bydlí u tebe,7I hovado tvé, i všeliký živočich, kterýž jest v zemi tvé, všecky úrody její budou míti ku pokrmu.8Sečteš také sobě sedm téhodnů let, totiž sedmkrát sedm let, tak aby čas sedmi téhodnů let učinil tobě čtyřidceti devět let.9Tedy dáš troubiti trubou veselé všudy sedmého měsíce v desátý den; v den očišťování dáš troubiti trubou po vší zemi vaší.10I posvětíte léta padesátého, a vyhlásíte svobodu v zemi té všechněm obyvatelům jejím. Léto milostivé toto míti budete, abyste se navrátili jeden každý k statku svému, a jeden každý k čeledi své zase přijde.11Ten rok milostivý padesátého léta míti budete; nebudete síti, ani žíti toho, což by samo od sebe vzrostlo, ani sbírati vína opuštěných vinic léta toho.12Nebo milostivé léto jest, protož za svaté je míti budete; ze všelikého pole jísti budete úrody jeho.13Toho léta milostivého navrátí se jeden každý k statku svému.14Když nějakou věc prodáš bližnímu svému, aneb koupíš něco od bližního svého, nikoli neutiskujte jeden druhého.15Vedlé počtu let po létu milostivém koupíš od bližního svého, a vedlé počtu let, v kterýchž úrody bráti máš, prodá tobě.16Čím více bude let, tím větší placení bude, a čím méně let, tím, menší placení bude; nebo počet úrod prodá tobě.17Protož nikoli neoklamávejte jeden druhého, ale boj se každý Boha svého; nebo já jsem Hospodin Bůh váš.18Ostříhejte ustanovení mých, a soudy mé zachovávejte a čiňte je, a bydliti budete v zemi té bezpečně.19A přinese vám země úrody své; i budete jísti až do sytosti, bydlíce bezpečně v ní.20Pakli díte: Co budeme jísti léta sedmého, jestliže nebudeme síti, ani shromažďovati užitků svých?21Dám požehnání své vám léta šestého, tak že přinese úrody na tři léta.22I budete síti léta osmého, a jísti úrody staré až do léta devátého; dokudž by nezrostly úrody jeho, jísti budete staré.23Země pak nebude prodávána v manství; nebo má jest země, a vy jste příchozí a podruzi u mne.24A po vší zemi vládařství svého dopustíte dávati výplatu země.25Jestliže by ochudl bratr tvůj, tak že by prodal něco z statku svého, tedy přijde příbuzný jeho, nejbližší jeho, a vyplatí prodanou věc od bratra svého.26Pakli kdo nemaje výplatce, mohl by tomu sám dosti učiniti, tak že shledal by, což potřebí k vyplacení:27Tedy počte léta prodaje svého, a navrátí, což zůstane, tomu, jemuž prodal; tak zase přijde k statku svému.28Pakli by nemohl shledati toho, což by navrátiti měl, tedy zůstane věc prodaná v rukou toho, kterýž ji koupil, až do léta milostivého. I postoupí mu ji v čas léta milostivého, a on navrátí se zase k dědictví svému.29Když by kdo prodal dům k bydlení v městě hrazeném, bude míti právo k vyplacení jeho, dokudž nevyplní se rok prodaje jeho. Za celý rok bude míti právo k vyplacení jeho.30Pakliť ho nevyplatí dříve, než vyjde ten celý rok, tedy zůstane dům ten v městě hrazeném tomu, kterýž jej koupil, dědičně v pronárodech jeho, aniž ho postoupí v létě milostivém.31Domové pak ve vsech, kteréž nejsou zdí ohrazené, tak jako pole země počítati se budou. Budou moci býti vyplacováni, a léta milostivého navráceni budou.32Ale města Levítská, a domové v městech dědictví jejich, ti vždycky vyplaceni mohou býti od Levítů.33Ten pak, kdož vyplacuje, ať jest z Levítů. Aneb ať vyjde kupec z koupeného domu a města dědictví jeho v čas léta milostivého; nebo domové měst Levítských jsou dědictví jejich mezi syny Izraelskými.34Pole pak na předměstí měst jejich nebude prodáváno, nebo dědictví jejich věčné jest.35Jestliže by schudl bratr tvůj, a ustaly by ruce jeho u tebe, posilníš ho; též příchozí aneb podruh živiti se bude při tobě.36Nevezmeš od něho lichvy aneb úroku, ale báti se budeš Boha svého, aby se mohl bratr tvůj živiti u tebe.37Peněz svých nedáš jemu na lichvu, aniž pro zisk půjčovati budeš obilí svého.38Já jsem Hospodin Bůh váš, kterýž jsem vyvedl vás z země Egyptské, abych vám dal zemi Kananejskou, a byl vám za Boha.39Jestliže by pak schudl bratr tvůj u tebe, tak že by se prodal tobě, nebudeš ho podrobovati v dílo otrocké.40Jakožto nájemník a jako podruh bude při tobě; až do léta milostivého sloužiti bude u tebe.41Potom vyjde od tebe s dětmi svými, a navrátí se k čeledi své, a v dědictví otců svých navrátí se.42Nebo jsou služebníci moji, kteréž jsem vyvedl z země Egyptské; nebudou prodáváni tak jako jiní služebníci.43Nebudeš panovati nad ním tvrdě, ale báti se budeš Boha svého.44Služebník pak tvůj aneb děvka tvá, kteréž míti budeš, budou z národů těch, kteříž jsou vůkol vás; z nich kupovati budete služebníky a děvky.45I od synů bydlitelů, kteříž jsou u vás pohostinu, od těch kupovati budete, a z čeledí těch, kteříž jsou s vámi, kteréž zplodili v zemi vaší, a budou vám v dědictví.46A vládnouti budete jimi právem dědičným, i synové vaší po vás, abyste je dědičně obdrželi. Na věčnost služby jejich užívati budete, ale nad bratřími svými, syny Izraelskými, nižádný nad bratrem svým nebude tvrdě panovati.47Jestliže by pak zbohatl příchozí aneb host, kterýž bydlí s tebou, a bratr tvůj přišel by na chudobu při něm, tak že by se prodal příchozímu aneb hosti tvému, aneb obyvateli, kterýž jest z čeledi cizí,48Když by se tedy prodal, může zase vyplacen býti. Někdo z bratří jeho vyplatí ho.49Buďto strýc jeho, aneb syn strýce jeho vyplatí jej, aneb někdo z přátel krevních jeho, z rodiny jeho, vyplatí ho; aneb jestli potom sám bude moci s to býti, vyplatí se.50I počte se s tím, kterýž ho koupil, od léta, v kterémž se jemu prodal, až do léta milostivého, aby peníze, za něž jest prodán, byly vedlé počtu let; a jakožto s nájemníkem, tak se s ním stane.51Jestliže ještě mnoho let zůstává k létu milostivému, vedlé nich navrátí výplatu svou z peněz, za něž koupen jest.52Pakli málo zůstává let do léta milostivého, tedy počte se s ním, a vedlé počtu let jeho navrátí výplatu svou.53Tak jako s čeledínem ročním nakládáno bude s ním; nebude nad ním tvrdě panovati před očima tvýma.54Pakli by se nevyplatil v těch letech, tedy vyjde léta milostivého on, i synové jeho s ním.55Nebo synové Izraelští jsou moji služebníci, služebníci moji jsou, kteréž jsem vyvedl z země Egyptské: Já Hospodin Bůh váš.
— Rok odpočinutí a milostivé léto - Každého sedmého a padesátého roku má země odpočívat a zotročení mají být propuštěni na svobodu.
1 Hospodin promluvil k Mojžíšovi na hoře Sínaji:2 „Mluv k Izraelcům a řekni jim: Až přijdete do země, kterou vám dávám, bude země slavit odpočinutí, odpočinutí Hospodinovo.3 Šest let budeš osívat své pole, šest let budeš prořezávat svou vinici a shromažďovat z ní úrodu,4 ale sedmého roku bude mít země rok odpočinutí, slavnost odpočinutí, odpočinutí Hospodinovo. Nebudeš osívat své pole ani prořezávat svou vinici.5 Co po tvé žni samo vyroste, nebudeš sklízet, a hrozny z vinice, kterou jsi neobdělal, nebudeš sbírat. Země bude mít rok odpočinutí.6 Co země v odpočinutí sama zplodí, bude vaší potravou, pro tebe, tvého otroka i otrokyni, tvého nádeníka i přistěhovalce, kteří u tebe pobývají jako hosté.7 I tvůj dobytek a zvěř, která je v tvé zemi, bude mít všechnu její úrodu za potravu. 8 Odpočítáš si pak sedm roků odpočinutí, sedmkrát sedm let, a vyjde ti období sedmi roků odpočinutí: čtyřicet devět let.9 Desátého dne sedmého měsíce dáš ryčně troubit na polnici; v den smíření budete troubit na polnici v celé vaší zemi.10 Padesátý rok posvětíte a vyhlásíte v zemi svobodu všem jejím obyvatelům. Bude to pro vás léto milostivé, kdy se každý vrátíte ke svému vlastnictví a všichni se vrátí ke své čeledi.11 Padesátý rok vám bude létem milostivým. Nebudete v něm sít ani sklízet, co samo vyroste, ani sbírat hrozny z neobdělaných vinic.12 Je to léto milostivé. Budete je mít za svaté. Smíte jíst z pole, co urodí. 13 V tomto milostivém létě se každý vrátí ke svému vlastnictví.14 Když budete prodávat něco svému bližnímu nebo něco od něho budeš kupovat, nepoškozujte jeden druhého.15 Podle počtu let po létě milostivém budeš kupovat od svého bližního, podle počtu let, v nichžbudeš brát užitek, bude prodávat tobě.16 Čím více let zbývá, tím vyšší bude kupní cena, a čím méně let zbývá, tím nižší bude kupní cena; bude ti prodávat podle počtu let, v nichž budeš brát užitek.17Nikdo nepoškodíte svého bližního, ale budeš se bát svého Boha. Já jsem Hospodin, váš Bůh. 18 Budete dodržovat má nařízení, dbát na moje řády a podle nich jednat. Tak budete bezpečně přebývat na zemi.19 Země vám vydá své plody a budete jíst dosyta a přebývat na ní bezpečně.20 Snad řeknete: Co budeme jíst sedmého roku, když nebudeme sít ani sklízet žádnou úrodu?21 Na můj rozkaz sestoupí na vás šestého roku mé požehnání, takže vydá úrodu na tři roky.22 Osmého roku budete sít, ale jíst budete z předloňské úrody až do devátého roku; dokud se nesveze jeho úroda, budete jíst ze staré.23 Země nesmí být prodávána bez práva na zpětnou koupi, neboť země je má. Vy jste u mne jen hosté a přistěhovalci.24 Proto po celé zemi, jež bude vaším vlastnictvím, zajistíte možnost zemi vyplatit. 25 Když tvůj bratr zchudne a odprodá něco ze svého vlastnictví, přijde k němu jeho příbuzný jako zastánce a vyplatí, co jeho bratr prodal.26 Kdyby někdo neměl zastánce, ale byl by potom sám schopen opatřit si potřebné výplatné,27 sečte léta od doby prodeje, proplatí zbytek tomu, komu prodal, a vrátí se ke svému vlastnictví.28 Jestliže není schopen zaplatit, zůstane, co prodal, v držbě kupce až do léta milostivého. V létě milostivém bude vyvázáno z držby a on se vrátí ke svému vlastnictví. 29 Když někdo prodá obytný dům v hrazeném městě, má právo jej vyplatit do roka od prodeje; rok trvá právo k vyplacení.30 Jestliže nebude vyplacen do jednoho roku, zůstane dům v hrazeném městě tomu, kdo jej koupil, i jeho pokolením, bez práva na zpětnou koupi; v létě milostivém nebude vyvázán z držby.31 Domy ve vsích neobehnaných hradbami budou posuzovány jako pole v zemi; bude na nich právo k vyplacení a v létě milostivém budou vyvázány z držby.32Pokud jde o lévijská města, budou mít lévijci trvale právo vyplácet městské domy, jež jsou jejich vlastnictvím.33 Někdo z lévijců buď použije práva k vyplacení, nebo bude prodaný dům v městě, které je v jejich vlastnictví, vyvázán z držby v létě milostivém, neboť domy v lévijských městech jsou jejich vlastnictvím uprostřed Izraelců.34Předměstské pole u jejich měst nesmí být prodáno, neboť to je jejich trvalé vlastnictví. 35 Když tvůj bratr zchudne a nebude moci vedle tebe obstát, ujmeš se ho jako hosta a přistěhovalce a bude žít s tebou.36 Nebudeš od něho brát lichvářský úrok, ale budeš se bát svého Boha. Tvůj bratr bude žít s tebou.37 Své stříbro mu nepůjčuj lichvářsky, na poskytované potravě nechtěj vydělávat.38 Já jsem Hospodin, váš Bůh, já jsem vás vyvedl z egyptské země, abych vám dal kenaanskou zemi a byl vám Bohem. 39 Když tvůj bratr vedle tebe zchudne a prodá ti sebe sama, nezotročíš ho otrockou službou.40 Bude u tebe jako nádeník, jako přistěhovalec; bude u tebe sloužit až do milostivého léta.41 Pak od tebe odejde a s ním i jeho děti a vrátí se ke své čeledi; vrátí se k vlastnictví svých otců.42 Jsou to přece moji služebníci, které jsem vyvedl z egyptské země, nesmějí být prodáváni jako otroci.43 Nebudeš nad ním surově panovat, ale budeš se bát svého Boha.44 Otrok a otrokyně, které budeš mít, ať jsou z pronárodů okolo vás; z nich si budete kupovat otroka a otrokyni.45 Také si je můžete koupit z dětí přistěhovalců, kteří u vás pobývají jako hosté, a z čeledi těch, kteří jsou u vás, z dětí, které zplodí ve vaší zemi; ti budou vaším vlastnictvím.46 Po sobě je odkážete svým synům, aby je zdědili jako své vlastnictví; trvale jim budou sloužit. Pokud jde o vaše bratry Izraelce, nikdo nebude nad svým bratrem surově panovat. 47 Když u tebe nějaký host nebo přistěhovalec dosáhne blahobytu a tvůj bratr u něho zchudne, takže sebe sama prodá hostu, který se k tobě přistěhoval, nebo některému příslušníku hostovy čeledi,48 ač se prodal, bude mít právo se vykoupit. Někdo z jeho bratrů dá za něj výkupné49 nebo ho vykoupí jeho strýc nebo bratranec anebo ho vykoupí někdo z blízkých příbuzných jeho čeledi anebo si opatří potřebný obnos a vykoupí se sám.50 Provede vyúčtování se svým kupcem od roku, kdy se mu prodal, až do milostivého léta. Stříbro, za které se prodal, přepočte se podle počtu let, jako by po ty dny byl u něho nádeníkem.51 Jestliže zůstává ještě mnoho let, vrátí podle nich ze stříbra kupní ceny odpovídající část výkupného.52 Jestliže zbývá do milostivého léta málo roků, vyúčtuje s ním a odevzdá své výkupné podle příslušných let.53 Z roku na rok bude u něho jako nádeník a on nebude nad ním před tebou surově panovat.54 Jestliže nebude tak či onak vykoupen, bude vyvázán z držby v milostivém létě i se svými dětmi. 55 Izraelci mi totiž patří jako služebníci, jsou to služebníci moji, které jsem vyvedl z egyptské země. Já jsem Hospodin, váš Bůh.“
1Hospodin promluvil k Mojžíšovi na hoře Sinaj:2„Mluv k synům Izraele: Až přijdete do země, kterou vám dávám, bude země zachovávat Hospodinův sobotní odpočinek.3Šest let osívej své pole, prořezávej svou vinici a shromažďuj její úrodu.4Sedmého roku však ať má země sobotu, čas odpočinku, sobotu pro Hospodina: své pole neosívej a neprořezávej svou vinici.5To, co se ti samo urodilo, nežni a na své netknuté vinici nepořádej vinobraní: ať má země rok odpočinku.6To, co země v odpočinku urodí, ovšem smíte jíst – jak ty, tak tvůj otrok, tvá děvečka, tvůj nádeník i tvůj host, kteří jsou s tebou.7Také tvůj dobytek a zvěř ve tvé zemi budou jíst její úrodu.8Odpočítáš si též sedm sobotních let, sedmkrát sedm let, takže ti doba sedmi sobotních let vyjde na čtyřicet devět let.9Desátého dne sedmého měsíce pak zatrub na beraní roh. V Den smíření ať celou vaší zemí zní troubení na roh.10Padesátý rok pak posvěťte a vyhlaste v zemi svobodu všem jejím obyvatelům.[1] To bude vaše léto milosti: vrátíte se každý ke svému vlastnictví, každý se vrátíte ke své rodině.11Tento padesátý rok pro vás bude létem milosti: nebudete sít, ani sklízet, co samo vyrostlo, a na své netknuté vinici nebudete pořádat vinobraní.12Protože je to léto milosti, bude vám svaté. Budete jíst jen to, co se samo urodí na poli.13V tomto létě milosti se vrátíte každý ke svému vlastnictví.14Když budeš svému bližnímu prodávat pozemek nebo jej budeš od svého bližního kupovat, nepoškozujte jeden druhého.15Podle počtu let od léta milosti nakoupíš od svého bližního; podle počtu let, kdy budeš sklízet úrodu, ti jej prodá.16Čím více zbývá let, tím vyšší bude cena. Čím méně zbývá let, tím bude cena nižší – prodává ti přece počet úrod.17Nepoškozujte svého bližního, ale každý se boj svého Boha – vždyť já jsem Hospodin, váš Bůh!18Plňte má pravidla a mé zákony zachovávejte a plňte; tehdy budete v té zemi bydlet v bezpečí.19Země vám bude přinášet své plody, takže budete jíst do sytosti a budete v ní bydlet v bezpečí.20Řeknete snad: ‚Co budeme sedmého roku jíst, když nebudeme sít ani shromažďovat úrodu?‘21Šestého roku na vás sešlu takové požehnání, že země vydá úrodu na tři roky!22Až budete osmého roku sít, budete ještě moci jíst starou úrodu; ještě devátého roku, než přijde nová úroda, budete moci jíst tu starou.23Země se nesmí prodávat natrvalo. Země totiž patří mně a vy jste u mě hosté a přistěhovalci.24U veškeré půdy, již budete vlastnit, tedy zajistíte právo zpětného vykoupení.25Zchudl-li jeden z tvých bratří tak, že musel prodat část svého vlastnictví, ať přijde jeho nejbližší příbuzný a vykoupí prodaný pozemek svého bratra.26Nemá-li někdo vykupitele, ale později se vzmůže a získá, co je potřeba k jeho vykoupení,27ať spočítá léta od prodeje svého pozemku a zbytek nahradí tomu, komu jej prodal. Tak se vrátí ke svému vlastnictví.28Nezíská-li však, co je potřeba k jeho navrácení, zůstane prodaný pozemek v rukou kupce až do léta milosti. V létě milosti pak bude vydán, a tak se majitel vrátí ke svému vlastnictví.29Prodá-li někdo obytný dům v hrazeném městě, bude mít právo k jeho vykoupení, dokud neuplyne rok od jeho prodeje. Právo vykoupit jej bude dočasné.30Nebude-li vykoupen, než uběhne celý rok, zůstane onen dům v hrazeném městě tomu, kdo jej koupil, i jeho potomkům natrvalo. Nebude vydán ani v létě milosti.31Domy v osadách, jež nejsou obehnány hradbou, se však budou počítat za polní půdu; bude pro ně platit právo vykoupení a v létě milosti budou vydány zpět.32V levitských městech ovšem bude právo levitů na vykoupení jejich městských domů trvalé.33I kdyby prodaný dům v jejich městě nikdo z levitů nevykoupil, bude v létě milosti vydán zpět. Domy levitů v jejich městech jsou totiž jejich vlastnictvím uprostřed synů Izraele.34Polnosti přiléhající k jejich městům se nesmí prodávat vůbec, neboť je to jejich trvalé vlastnictví.35Zchudne-li poblíž tebe jeden z tvých bratří, takže nebude moci obstát, ujmi se jej jako hosta a přistěhovalce, aby mohl žít u tebe.36Neber od něj úrok ani přirážku – boj se svého Boha! – aby tvůj bratr mohl žít poblíž tebe.37Nechtěj úrok na peníze ani přirážku na jídlo, jež mu poskytneš.38Já jsem Hospodin, váš Bůh, který vás vyvedl z Egypta, abych vám dal kanaánskou zem, abych byl vaším Bohem.39Zchudne-li poblíž tebe jeden z tvých bratří, takže ti sám sebe prodá, nepodrobuj ho otrocké službě.40Ať je u tebe jako nádeník, jako přistěhovalec; bude u tebe sloužit až do léta milosti.41Tehdy od tebe odejde – on a s ním i jeho děti – a vrátí se ke své rodině, vrátí se k vlastnictví svých otců.42(Jsou to přece moji služebníci, které jsem vyvedl z Egypta: nebudou na prodej jako otroci!)43Nebudeš nad ním krutě panovat – boj se svého Boha!44Tvůj otrok i tvá děvečka, které budeš vlastnit, budou z národů okolo vás; od těch si smíte koupit otroka i děvečku.45Smíte si je koupit také z potomků přistěhovalců, kteří u vás pobývají, i z jejich soukmenovců, kteří jsou u vás a kteří se narodili ve vaší zemi – ti budou vaším vlastnictvím.46Po sobě je smíte odkázat svým synům jako dědičné vlastnictví. Je smíte trvale vlastnit jako otroky, ale své izraelské bratry nikoli. Nad svým bratrem nikdo nesmí krutě panovat.47Když se přistěhovalec žijící u tebe vzmůže a tvůj bratr vedle něj zchudne, takže sám sebe prodá tomu přistěhovalci anebo jeho příbuznému,48bude jeho právo na vykoupení trvat i poté, co se prodal. Jeho bratr,49strýc či bratranec nebo jiný pokrevní příbuzný z jeho rodu ho vykoupí anebo se vzmůže a vykoupí se sám.50Spolu s tím, kdo jej koupil, spočítá roky od svého prodeje do léta milosti. Jeho výkupní cena ať je úměrná mzdě nádeníka za daný počet let.51Zbývá-li ještě mnoho let, zaplatí jako své výkupné odpovídající část z ceny, za niž byl koupen.52Zbývá-li do léta milosti jen málo let, spočítá cenu svého výkupného podle nich.53Bude s ním nakládáno jako s nádeníkem najímaným rok po roce. Dohlédni, aby nad ním nikdo krutě nepanoval.54Nebude-li však v těchto letech vykoupen, odejde v létě milosti – on a s ním i jeho děti.55Synové Izraele jsou přece moji služebníci, jsou to mí služebníci, které jsem vyvedl z Egypta! Já jsem Hospodin, váš Bůh.“

Für das Land soll es ein Jahr der Sabbatruhe sein.6Der Sabbat des Landes selbst soll euch ernähren: dich, deinen Knecht, deine Magd, deinen Lohnarbeiter, deine Beisassen, alle, die bei dir leben.7Auch deinem Vieh und den Tieren in deinem Land wird sein ganzer Ertrag zur Nahrung dienen.8Du sollst sieben Sabbatjahre, siebenmal sieben Jahre, zählen; die Zeit von sieben Sabbatjahren ergibt für dich neunundvierzig Jahre.[1]9Im siebten Monat, am zehnten Tag des Monats, sollst du das schallende Horn ertönen lassen; am Versöhnungstag sollt ihr das Horn im ganzen Land ertönen lassen.10Erklärt dieses fünfzigste Jahr für heilig und ruft Freiheit für alle Bewohner des Landes aus! Es gelte euch als Jubeljahr. Jeder von euch soll zu seinem Grundbesitz zurückkehren, jeder soll zu seiner Sippe heimkehren.11Dieses fünfzigste Jahr gelte euch als Jubeljahr. Ihr sollt nicht säen, den Nachwuchs nicht abernten, die unbeschnittenen Weinstöcke nicht lesen.12Denn es ist ein Jubeljahr, es soll euch als heilig gelten. Vom Feld weg sollt ihr den Ertrag essen.13In diesem Jubeljahr soll jeder von euch zu seinem Besitz zurückkehren. (1Te 4,6)15Kaufst du von deinem Mitbürger, so berücksichtige die Zahl der Jahre nach dem Jubeljahr; verkauft er dir, dann soll er die noch ausstehenden Ertragsjahre berücksichtigen.16Je höher die Anzahl der Jahre, desto höher berechne den Kaufpreis; je geringer die Anzahl der Jahre, desto weniger verlang von ihm; denn es ist die Zahl von Ernteerträgen, die er dir verkauft.17Ihr sollt einander nicht übervorteilen. Fürchte deinen Gott; denn ich bin der HERR, euer Gott.18Ihr sollt meine Satzungen befolgen und meine Rechtsentscheide bewahren und sie ausführen; dann werdet ihr im Land in Sicherheit wohnen. (Lv 26,5; Dt 12,10; 1Kr 5,5)19Das Land wird seine Frucht geben, ihr werdet euch satt essen und in Sicherheit darin wohnen.20Wenn ihr aber fragt: Was sollen wir im siebten Jahr essen, wenn wir nicht säen und unseren Ertrag nicht ernten dürfen? -21Ich werde für euch im sechsten Jahr meinen Segen aufbieten und er wird den Ertrag für drei Jahre geben. (Dt 28,8)22Wenn ihr im achten Jahr sät, werdet ihr noch bis zum neunten Jahr vom alten Ertrag essen können; bis der Ertrag dieses Jahres kommt, werdet ihr vom alten essen können. (Lv 26,10)23Das Land darf nicht endgültig verkauft werden; denn das Land gehört mir und ihr seid nur Fremde und Beisassen bei mir. (Ž 39,13)24Für jeden Grundbesitz sollt ihr ein Rückkaufrecht auf das Land gewähren.25Wenn dein Bruder verarmt und etwas von seinem Grundbesitz verkauft, soll sein Verwandter als Löser für ihn eintreten und den verkauften Boden seines Bruders auslösen.[2] (Rt 2,20; Rt 3,12; Rt 4,3; Rt 4,4; Jr 32,7)26Hat einer keinen Löser, hat er aber die nötigen Mittel für den Rückkauf selbst aufgebracht,27dann soll er die Jahre seit dem Verkauf anrechnen und den Restbetrag dem Käufer zurückzahlen; sein Grundbesitz fällt an ihn zurück.28Bringt er die nötigen Mittel für diese Rückzahlung nicht auf, dann soll der verkaufte Grund bis zum Jubeljahr im Besitz des Käufers bleiben. Im Jubeljahr wird das Grundstück frei und es kommt wieder zu seinem Besitz.29Verkauft jemand ein Wohnhaus in einer ummauerten Stadt, so besteht das Rückkaufrecht bis zum Ablauf des Jahres, das dem Verkauf folgt; sein Rückkaufrecht ist zeitlich beschränkt.30Erfolgt der Rückkauf bis zum Ablauf des Jahres nicht, dann soll das Haus innerhalb der ummauerten Stadt dem Käufer und seinen Nachkommen endgültig verbleiben; er braucht es im Jubeljahr nicht zu verlassen.31Aber die Häuser in Dörfern, die nicht von Mauern umgeben sind, werden als Bestandteil des freien Feldes betrachtet; für sie besteht ein Rückkaufrecht und der Käufer muss es im Jubeljahr verlassen.32Für die Städte der Leviten, die Häuser der Städte, die ihr Erbbesitz sind, gilt: Die Leviten haben ein zeitlich unbegrenztes Rückkaufrecht.33Das bedeutet: Einer von den Leviten löst es aus oder das verkaufte Haus in der Stadt seines Erbbesitzes fällt im Jubeljahr an den ursprünglichen Besitzer zurück; denn die Häuser in den Städten der Leviten sind deren Besitz mitten unter den Israeliten.34Das Weideland, das zu diesen Städten gehört, kann nicht verkauft werden; denn es ist ihr ewiger Besitz.35Wenn dein Bruder verarmt und sich neben dir nicht halten kann, sollst du ihn, auch einen Fremden oder Beisassen, unterstützen, damit er neben dir leben kann. (Dt 15,7)36Nimm von ihm keinen Zins und Wucher! Fürchte deinen Gott und dein Bruder soll neben dir leben können. Sie sollen euer Besitz sein46und ihr dürft sie euren Kindern nach euch vererben, damit diese sie als Besitz für immer haben; ihr sollt sie als Sklaven haben. Aber was eure Brüder, die Israeliten, angeht, so soll keiner über den andern mit Gewalt herrschen.47Wenn ein Fremder oder ein Beisasse bei dir zu Vermögen kommt, aber dein Bruder neben ihm verarmt und sich ihm oder einem Nachkommen aus der Familie eines Fremden verkauft,48dann soll es, wenn er sich verkauft hat, für ihn ein Loskaufrecht geben: Einer seiner Brüder soll ihn auslösen. (Neh 5,8)49Auslösen sollen ihn sein Onkel, der Sohn seines Onkels oder sonst ein Verwandter aus seiner Sippe. Falls seine eigenen Mittel ausreichen, kann er sich selbst loskaufen.50Er soll mit dem, der ihn gekauft hat, die Jahre zwischen dem Verkaufs- und dem Jubeljahr berechnen; die Summe des Verkaufspreises soll auf die Zahl der Jahre verteilt werden, wobei die verbrachte Zeit wie die eines Lohnarbeiters gilt.51Wenn noch viele Jahre abzudienen sind, soll er die ihnen entsprechende Summe als seinen Lösepreis bezahlen.52Wenn nur noch wenige Jahre bis zum Jubeljahr übrig sind, soll er es ihm berechnen; den Jahren entsprechend soll er seinen Lösepreis bezahlen.53Er gelte wie ein Lohnarbeiter Jahr um Jahr bei seinem Herrn; dieser soll nicht vor deinen Augen mit Gewalt über ihn herrschen.54Wenn er in der Zwischenzeit nicht losgekauft wird, soll er im Jubeljahr freigelassen werden, er und seine Kinder.55Denn mir gehören die Israeliten als Knechte, meine Knechte sind sie; ich habe sie aus Ägypten herausgeführt, ich bin der HERR, euer Gott.

The Year of Jubilee
8“You shall count seven weeks[3] of years, seven times seven years, so that the time of the seven weeks of years shall give you forty-nine years.9Then you shall sound the loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month. On the Day of Atonement you shall sound the trumpet throughout all your land. (Lv 23,24; Lv 23,27; Iz 27,13)10And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, when each of you shall return to his property and each of you shall return to his clan. (Lv 27,24; Nu 36,4; Iz 61,1; Iz 61,2; Iz 63,4; Jr 34,8; Jr 34,13; Jr 34,15; Jr 34,17; Ez 46,17; L 4,19)11That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of itself nor gather the grapes from the undressed vines. Redemption of Property
23“The land shall not be sold in perpetuity, for the land is mine. For you are strangers and sojourners with me. (Dt 32,43; 2Pa 7,20; Ž 85,1; Oz 9,3; Jl 2,18; Jl 3,2)24And in all the country you possess, you shall allow a redemption of the land.25“If your brother becomes poor and sells part of his property, then his nearest redeemer shall come and redeem what his brother has sold. (Rt 2,20; Rt 3,9; Rt 3,12; Rt 4,4; Rt 4,6; Jr 32,7)26If a man has no one to redeem it and then himself becomes prosperous and finds sufficient means to redeem it,27let him calculate the years since he sold it and pay back the balance to the man to whom he sold it, and then return to his property. (Lv 25,50)28But if he does not have sufficient means to recover it, then what he sold shall remain in the hand of the buyer until the year of jubilee. In the jubilee it shall be released, and he shall return to his property. (Lv 25,13; Lv 25,41; Lv 27,21)29“If a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, he may redeem it within a year of its sale. For a full year he shall have the right of redemption.30If it is not redeemed within a full year, then the house in the walled city shall belong in perpetuity to the buyer, throughout his generations; it shall not be released in the jubilee. (Lv 25,28)31But the houses of the villages that have no wall around them shall be classified with the fields of the land. They may be redeemed, and they shall be released in the jubilee. (Lv 25,28)32As for the cities of the Levites, the Levites may redeem at any time the houses in the cities they possess. (Nu 35,2; Jz 21,2)33And if one of the Levites exercises his right of redemption, then the house that was sold in a city they possess shall be released in the jubilee. For the houses in the cities of the Levites are their possession among the people of Israel.34But the fields of pastureland belonging to their cities may not be sold, for that is their possession forever. Kindness for Poor Brothers
35“If your brother becomes poor and cannot maintain himself with you, you shall support him as though he were a stranger and a sojourner, and he shall live with you. (Dt 15,7; Ž 41,1; Ž 112,5; Ž 112,9; Př 14,31; Sk 11,29; 1J 3,17)36Take no interest from him or profit, but fear your God, that your brother may live beside you. (Ex 22,25; Lv 25,17; Lv 25,43; Neh 5,9; Mal 3,5)37You shall not lend him your money at interest, nor give him your food for profit. (Lv 25,36)38I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God. Redeeming a Poor Man
47“If a stranger or sojourner with you becomes rich, and your brother beside him becomes poor and sells himself to the stranger or sojourner with you or to a member of the stranger’s clan, (Lv 25,25; Lv 25,35; Lv 25,39)48then after he is sold he may be redeemed. One of his brothers may redeem him,49or his uncle or his cousin may redeem him, or a close relative from his clan may redeem him. Or if he grows rich he may redeem himself. (Lv 25,26; Lv 25,47; Neh 5,1)50He shall calculate with his buyer from the year when he sold himself to him until the year of jubilee, and the price of his sale shall vary with the number of years. The time he was with his owner shall be rated as the time of a hired worker. (Jb 7,1; Iz 16,14; Iz 21,16)51If there are still many years left, he shall pay proportionately for his redemption some of his sale price.52If there remain but a few years until the year of jubilee, he shall calculate and pay for his redemption in proportion to his years of service.53He shall treat him as a worker hired year by year.
