1Opět stalo se slovo Hospodinovo ke mně, řkoucí:2Synu člověčí, obrať tvář svou proti Gogovi, země Magog, knížeti a hlavě v Mešech a Tubal, a prorokuj proti němu,3A rci: Takto praví Panovník Hospodin: Aj, já budu proti tobě, Gogu, kníže a hlavo v Mešech a Tubal.4A odvedu tě zpět, dada udice do čelistí tvých, když tě vyvedu i všecko vojsko tvé, koně i jezdce, všecky oblečené v celou zbroj, zástup veliký s pavézami a štíty, všecky ty, kteříž užívají meče:5Perské, Mouřeníny i Putské s nimi, všecky ty s štíty a lebkami,6Gomera i všecky houfy jeho, dům Togarmy od stran půlnočních, i všecky houfy jeho, národy mnohé s tebou.7Budiž hotov, a připrav se, ty i všecko shromáždění tvé, těch, kteříž se k tobě sebrali, a buď strážcím jejich.8Po mnohých dnech navštíven budeš, v potomních letech přitáhneš na lid vysvobozený od meče, a shromážděný z národů mnohých na hory Izraelské, kteréž byly pustinou ustavičně, když oni z národů jsouce vyvedeni, budou bydliti bezpečně všickni.9V tom přitáhneš a přijdeš jako bouře, budeš jako oblak přikrývající zemi, ty i všickni houfové tvoji, i národové mnozí s tebou.10Takto praví Panovník Hospodin: I stane se v ten den, že vstoupí mnohé věci na srdce tvé, a budeš mysliti myšlení zlé.11A díš: Potáhnu na zemi, v níž jsou vsi, přitáhnu na ty, jenž pokoje užívají, bydlíce bezpečně, na všecky, kteříž bydlejí beze všech zdí, a nemají žádné závory ani bran,12Abych vzebral kořisti, a rozchvátal loupeže, obraceje ruku svou proti pouštěm již osazeným, a proti lidu zase shromážděnému z národů, zacházejícímu s dobytkem a jměním, bydlejícím u prostřed země.13Sába a Dedan, a kupci mořští, i všecka lvíčata jeho řeknou tobě: K rozebrání-liž kořistí ty se béřeš? K rozchvátání-li loupeže shromáždil jsi množství své, abys bral stříbro a zlato, abys nabral dobytka i zboží, a nashromáždil loupeže veliké?14Protož synu člověčí, prorokuj a rci Gogovi: Takto praví Panovník Hospodin: Zdaliž toho dne, když bude lid můj Izraelský bydliti bezpečně, nezvíš,15Kdyžto přitáhnouce z místa svého od stran půlnočních, ty i národové mnozí s tebou, sedíce na koních všickni, shromáždění veliké a vojsko znamenité,16Potáhneš na lid můj Izraelský jako oblak, abys přikryl tu zemi? V potomních dnech stane se, že tě přivedu na zemi svou, aby mne poznali národové, když posvěcen budu v tobě před očima jejich, ó Gogu.17Takto praví Panovník Hospodin: Zdaliž ty nejsi ten, o kterémž jsem mluvil za dnů starodávních skrze služebníky své, proroky Izraelské, kteříž prorokovali za těch dnů a let, že tě přivedu na ně?18A však stane se v ten den, v den, v kterýž přitáhne Gog na zemi Izraelskou, praví Panovník Hospodin, že povstane prchlivost má s hněvem mým,19A v rozhorlení svém, v ohni prchlivosti své mluviti budu. Jistě že v ten den bude pohnutí veliké v zemi Izraelské,20Tak že se pohnou před tváří mou ryby mořské i ptactvo nebeské, a zvěř polní i všeliký zeměplaz plazící se po zemi, i všickni lidé, kteříž jsou na svrchku země. I rozválejí se hory, a padnou výsosti, i každá zed na zem upadne.21Nebo zavolám proti němu po všech horách mých meče, praví Panovník Hospodin; meč každého proti bratru jeho bude.22A vykonám při něm soud morem a krve prolitím a přívalem rozvodnilým, a kamením krupobití velikého, ohněm a sirou dštíti budu na něj i na houfy jeho, a na národy mnohé, kteříž jsou s ním.23A tak zveleben, a posvěcen, a v známost uveden budu před očima národů mnohých, a zvědí, že já jsem Hospodin.
— Proroctví o příchodu Gógově - Na sklonku dnů přivede Hospodin na svou zemi apokalyptického nepřítele Góga, ale pak se postaví proti němu a prokáže svou svrchovanost před očima všech pronárodů.
1 I stalo se ke mně slovo Hospodinovo:2 „Lidský synu, postav se proti Gógovi v zemi Magógu, proti velkoknížeti Mešeku a Túbalu, a prorokuj proti němu.3 Řekni: Toto praví Panovník Hospodin: Chystám se na tebe, Gógu, velkokníže Mešeku a Túbalu!4 Odvedu tě, dám ti do čelistí háky a odvleču tebe i celé tvé vojsko, koně i jezdce, všechny dokonale vystrojené, velké shromáždění s pavézami a štíty, všechny, kdo vládnou mečem,5 Peršany, s nimi Kúšany a Pútejce, všechny se štíty a přilbami,6 Gomera a všechny jeho voje, Bét-togarmu na nejzazším severu a všechny jeho voje, mnoho národů s tebou.7 Připrav se, ano, buď připraven ty a všechny tvé sbory, které se kolem tebe shromáždily; budeš jejich strážcem.8 Před mnohými dny jsi byl určen k tomu, abys na sklonku let vtáhl do země, která se zatím zotaví po meči. Její lid, shromážděný z mnohých národů na hory izraelské, které ustavičně zůstávaly pusté, bude vyveden z národů a všichni budou bezpečně bydlet.9 Tu přitáhneš a přiženeš se jako bouře, jako oblak přikryješ zemi, ty i všechny tvé voje a mnoho národů s tebou.“ 10 Toto praví Panovník Hospodin: „V onen den ti vstoupí na srdce různé věci a pojmeš zlý úmysl.11 Řekneš si: ‚Potáhnu do země neopevněných osad, půjdu na ty, kdo sídlí v klidu a bezpečí, na všechny obyvatele, kteří nemají hradby ani závory ani vrata.12 Poberu kořist a uloupím lup.‘ Vztáhneš svou ruku na osídlená místa, která byla kdysi v troskách, a na lid shromážděný z pronárodů, který si hledí jen stád a zboží a sídlí na Pupku země.13 Šeba a Dedán, kupci z Taršíše a všechna jeho lvíčata ti řeknou: ‚Přicházíš, abys pobral kořist? Sebral jsi své sbory, abys uloupil lup? Abys odnesl stříbro a zlato, pobral stáda a zboží, abys ukořistil velikou kořist?‘ 14 Proto prorokuj, lidský synu, a řekni Gógovi: Toto praví Panovník Hospodin: Což se nedozvíš v onen den, že Izrael, můj lid, sídlí v bezpečí?15 Vyjdeš ze svého místa, z nejzazšího severu, ty i mnoho národů s tebou, všichni jezdci na koních, velké shromáždění, velké vojsko.16 Potáhneš na Izraele, můj lid, a pokryješ zemi jako mrak. Na sklonku dnů tě přivedu na svou zemi, aby mě pronárody poznaly, až ukážu svou svatost před jejich očima na tobě, Gógu!“ 17 Toto praví Panovník Hospodin: „Což to nejsi ty, o kterém jsem mluvil v dávných dobách skrze izraelské proroky, své služebníky, kteří prorokovali v oněch dnech, po léta, že tě na ně přivedu? 18 I stane se v onen den, v den, kdy přijde Góg na izraelskou zemi, je výrok Panovníka Hospodina, že se zvedne mé rozhořčení v hněvu19 a promluvím ve svém rozhorlení, v ohni své prchlivosti: Jistojistě přijde v onen den na izraelskou zemi veliké zemětřesení20 a budou se přede mnou třást mořské ryby i nebeské ptactvo, polní zvěř a všichni plazi, kteří se plazí po zemi, i každý člověk, který je na tváři země. Hory se zbortí, skalní srázy se zřítí a každá hradba se skácí na zem.21 Zavolám proti němu meč na všechny své hory, je výrok Panovníka Hospodina, meč jednoho se obrátí proti druhému.22Vykonám nad ním soud morem a krví; spustím příval deště a kroupy jako kameny, oheň a síru na něho a na všechny jeho voje a na množství národů, které jsou s ním.23 Ukážu svou velikost a svatost a dám se poznat před očima mnohých pronárodů. I poznají, že já jsem Hospodin.“
1Dostal jsem slovo Hospodinovo:2„Synu člověčí, obrať se proti Gogovi v zemi Magog,[1] proti velevládci Mešeku a Tubalu. Prorokuj proti němu3a řekni – Tak praví Panovník Hospodin: Hle, já jsem proti tobě, Gogu, velevládce Mešeku a Tubalu!4Přivedu si tě. Vrazím ti do čelistí háky a přivleču tě s celým tvým vojskem – koně i všechny jezdce v plné výstroji, nesčetný zástup s pavézami a štíty, všechny vyzbrojené meči,5Peršany, Habešany i Libyjce s nimi, všechny se štíty a přilbami,6Gomera se všemi jeho šiky i Bet-togarmu z dálného severu se všemi jeho šiky – všechny ty národy, které se k tobě připojí.7Chystej se! Buď připraven i se všemi zástupy shromážděnými k tobě, neboť budeš jejich velitel.8Po dlouhé době budeš povolán, po mnoha letech přitáhneš do země, která se vzpamatovala z válek a jejíž lid se shromáždil z mnoha národů na izraelské hory, jež byly tak dlouho posety troskami. Poté, co budou vyvedeni z národů, budou všichni bydlet v bezpečí,9když vtom přitáhneš ty. Přiženeš se jako bouře a jako mračno přikryješ zem se všemi svými vojsky, s mnoha národy, které se k tobě připojí.10Tak praví Panovník Hospodin: V ten den tě napadnou různé myšlenky a zosnuješ zlý plán.11Řekneš si: ‚Zaútočím na zemi s nechráněnými vesnicemi, napadnu ty, kdo žijí v klidu a bezpečí – vždyť její obyvatelé vůbec nemají hradby, brány ani závory!‘12Vrhneš se na kořist a budeš plenit, vztáhneš ruku na osídlené trosky a na lid shromážděný z národů, který se stará o svá stáda a majetek a bydlí v samém středu země.13Šeba a Dedan i zámořští kupci a všichni jejich draví lvi se tě zeptají: ‚Přicházíš se vrhnout na kořist? Shromáždil jsi vojska, abys plenil? Abys odnesl stříbro se zlatem, pobral stáda i majetek a pobral spoustu kořisti?‘14Nuže, synu člověčí, prorokuj a řekni Gogovi – Tak praví Panovník Hospodin: V den, kdy bude můj lid Izrael bydlet v bezpečí, si jich povšimneš15a přijdeš ze své domoviny na dálném severu se všemi národy, které se k tobě připojí – samí jezdci na koních, nesčetný zástup mocné armády.16Přitáhneš na můj lid Izrael jako mračno, jež přikrývá zemi. V budoucnosti tě, Gogu, přivedu proti své zemi, aby mě národy poznaly, až se na tobě před jejich očima posvětím.17Tak praví Panovník Hospodin: Ano, jsi to ty, o kom jsem mluvil v dávných dnech skrze své služebníky, izraelské proroky. Po celá léta tehdy prorokovali, že tě přivedu proti nim.18V ten den, praví Panovník Hospodin, v den, kdy Gog zaútočí na izraelskou zem, vzplane můj prudký hněv.19Ve svém rozhorlení, v plameni svého zuření prohlašuji: V ten den bude v izraelské zemi veliké zemětřesení!20Mořské ryby i ptáci na nebi, divoká zvěř i všechna havěť lezoucí po zemi se přede mnou budou třást spolu se všemi lidmi všude na zemi. Sesují se hory, zbortí se srázy a každá hradba padne k zemi.21Na všech svých horách povolám proti Gogovi meč, praví Panovník Hospodin, a všichni jeho muži obrátí meč proti sobě navzájem.22Budu ho soudit morem a krveprolitím, průtrží mračen a kroupami jako kameny, budu dštít oheň a síru na něj a jeho šiky – na všechny ty národy, které se k němu připojí.23Tak projevím svou velikost a svatost a dám se poznat před očima mnoha národů. Tehdy poznají, že já jsem Hospodin.“

(Gn 10,2; Ez 39,1)4Ich führe dich und lege dir Haken an deine Kinnbacken und führe dich und deine ganze Streitmacht heraus: Pferde und Reiter, alle prächtig gekleidet, ein großes Heer, mit Langschild und Rundschild. Sie alle haben das Schwert in der Hand. (Ez 29,4)5Paras, Kusch und Put sind dabei, sie alle mit Schild und Helm, (Ez 27,10; Ez 30,5)6Gomer und all seine Truppen, Bet-Togarma, der äußerste Norden und all seine Truppen. Viele Völker sind mit dir. (Ez 27,14)7Rüste dich, halte dich bereit, du und dein ganzes Heer, das bei dir versammelt ist; sei mit ihnen auf dem Posten!8Nach langer Zeit wirst du deinen Auftrag erhalten. Am Ende der Jahre wirst du in ein Land kommen, das dem Schwert wieder entrissen ist und aus vielen Völkern auf den Bergen Israels zusammengeführt wurde, die lange verödet waren. Aus den Völkern wurde es herausgeführt und sie alle wohnen in Sicherheit. (Ez 11,17; Ez 28,26)9Du ziehst herauf, wie ein Unwetter kommst du; wie eine Wolke bist du, um das ganze Land zu bedecken - du und all deine Truppen und viele Völker mit dir.10So spricht GOTT, der Herr: An jenem Tag geschieht es, dass Gedanken in deinem Herzen aufsteigen und du einen bösen Plan ersinnst.11Du sagst: Ich will gegen das ungeschützte Land hinaufziehen, will über die friedlichen Menschen kommen, die dort in Sicherheit wohnen - sie alle wohnen ja ohne Mauern und sie haben keine Riegel und Tore -, (Ez 28,26; Za 2,8)12um Beute zu machen und zu plündern, um deine Hand gegen diese bewohnten Trümmer und das Volk zu wenden, das aus den Nationen zusammengeführt wurde, das sich wieder Herden und Besitz erworben hat und jetzt auf dem Nabel der Erde wohnt.13Dann werden dich Saba und Dedan und die Kaufleute von Tarschisch und all seine Löwen fragen: Kommst du, um Beute zu machen? Hast du deine Heere versammelt, um zu plündern, um Silber und Gold wegzuschleppen, Herden und Besitz wegzunehmen und große Beute zu machen? (Ez 25,13)14Darum tritt als Prophet auf, Menschensohn, und sag zu Gog: So spricht GOTT, der Herr: Ist es nicht so? An jenem Tag, wenn mein Volk Israel in Sicherheit wohnt, wirst du es erkennen.15Dann kommst du von deinem Ort heran, aus dem äußersten Norden, du und viele Völker mit dir, alle zu Pferd, ein großes Heer, eine gewaltige Streitmacht.16Du ziehst gegen mein Volk Israel heran wie eine Wolke, um das Land zu bedecken. Am Ende der Tage wird es geschehen: Ich lasse dich über mein Land kommen, damit die Nationen mich erkennen, wenn ich mich vor ihren Augen an dir, Gog, als heilig erweise. Drohspruch gegen Gog
17So spricht GOTT, der Herr: Bist du der, von dem ich in früherer Zeit durch meine Knechte gesprochen habe, durch die Propheten Israels? Sie weissagten in jenen Tagen und Jahren, dass ich dich über sie kommen lassen werde.18Und an jenem Tag wird es geschehen, am Tag, da Gog über das Land Israel kommt - Spruch GOTTES, des Herrn -, da wird mein grimmiger Zorn aufsteigen.19In meinem leidenschaftlichen Eifer, im Feuer meiner Wut, spreche ich: Fürwahr! An jenem Tag wird es im Land Israel ein gewaltiges Erdbeben geben.20Dann erbeben vor mir die Fische im Meer und der Vogel am Himmel, das Wild auf dem Feld und alles Kriechtier, das auf dem Erdboden kriecht, und jeder Mensch auf dem Erdboden. Es bersten die Berge, die Felswände stürzen ein und jede Mauer stürzt zu Boden. (Gn 1,20)21Dann rufe ich für alle meine Berge das Schwert herbei - gegen ihn - Spruch GOTTES, des Herrn. Da wird sich das Schwert des einen gegen den andern wenden. (Zj 20,8)22Ich richte ihn durch Pest und Blut; ich lasse Wolkenbruch und Hagelschlag, Feuer und Schwefel herabregnen über ihn und seine Truppen und über die vielen Völker, die bei ihm sind. (Ez 13,11; Zj 20,9)23So werde ich mich als groß und heilig erweisen und mich vor den Augen vieler Nationen zu erkennen geben. Dann werden sie erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin. You will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your hordes, and many peoples with you. (Ez 5,13; Ag 2,6; Zj 16,18)20The fish of the sea and the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the people who are on the face of the earth, shall quake at my presence. And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground. (Ž 114,7; Jr 4,24; Oz 4,3)21I will summon a sword against Gog[4] on all my mountains, declares the Lord God. Every man’s sword will be against his brother. (Sd 7,22; Jr 25,29)22With pestilence and bloodshed I will enter into judgment with him, and I will rain upon him and his hordes and the many peoples who are with him torrential rains and hailstones, fire and sulfur. 1And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,2Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,3And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:4And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:5Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:6Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.7Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.8After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.9Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.10Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:11And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,12To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.13Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?14Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it ?15And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:16And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.17Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?18And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.19For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;20So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.21And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man' sword shall be against his brother.22And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.23Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.
