1 Potom mluvil Hospodin k Mojžíšovi, řka: 2 V den měsíce prvního, prvního dne téhož měsíce vyzdvihneš příbytek, stánek úmluvy. 3 A postavíš tam truhlu svědectví a zastřeš ji oponou. 4 Vneseš i stůl a zřídíš řád jeho, vneseš také svícen a rozsvítíš lampy jeho. 5 Postavíš též oltář zlatý pro kadění naproti truhle svědectví, a zavěsíš zastření ve dveřích příbytku. 6 Potom postavíš oltář k zápalům přede dveřmi příbytku stánku úmluvy. 7 Postavíš také umyvadlo mezi stánkem úmluvy a mezi oltářem, do něhož naleješ vody. 8 Naposledy vyzdvihneš síň vůkol a zavěsíš zastření brány síně. 9 Tedy vezmeš olej pomazání a pomažeš příbytku a všech věcí, kteréž v něm jsou, a posvětíš ho i všech nádob jeho, a bude svatý. 10 Pomažeš i oltáře zápalu a všech nádob jeho a posvětíš oltáře, a budeť oltář svatý. 11 Pomažeš také umyvadla a podstavku jeho, a posvětíš ho. 12 A přistoupiti kážeš Aronovi i synům jeho ke dveřím stánku svědectví, a umyješ je vodou. 13 A oblečeš Arona v roucha svatá a pomažeš ho a posvětíš ho, aby úřad kněžský konal přede mnou. 14 Synům také jeho přistoupiti kážeš, a zobláčíš je v sukně. 15 A pomažeš jich, tak jako jsi pomazal otce jejich, aby úřad kněžský konali přede mnou, aby jim bylo pomazání jejich toto k kněžství věčnému po rodech jejich. 16 I učinil Mojžíš tak. A tak dokonal Mojžíš dílo to. 34 Tedy přikryl oblak stánek úmluvy, a sláva Hospodinova naplnila příbytek. 35 A nemohl Mojžíš vjíti do stánku úmluvy; nebo byl nad ním oblak, a sláva Hospodinova naplnila příbytek. 36 Když pak odnášel se oblak s příbytku, brali se synové Izraelští po všech taženích svých. 37 Pakli se neodnášel oblak, nehýbali se až do dne, v němž se zdvihl. 38 A byl oblak Hospodinův nad příbytkem ve dne, a oheň býval v noci na něm, před očima všeho domu Izraelského ve všech taženích jejich.

Toto pomazání je uvede v trvalé kněžství po všechna pokolení.“ 16 Mojžíš učinil všechno přesně tak, jak mu Hospodin přikázal. 17 Příbytek byl postaven první den prvního měsíce druhého roku. 18 Mojžíš postavil příbytek: rozmístil jeho patky, zasadil desky, přiložil svlaky a postavil sloupy. 19 Nad příbytkem rozprostřel stan a nahoru na stan položil přikrývku, jak Hospodin Mojžíšovi přikázal. 20 Potom vzal svědectví a dal je do schrány; podél schrány zasunul tyče a nahoru na schránu položil příkrov. 21 Schránu vnesl do příbytku, zavěsil vnitřní oponu a zastřel schránu svědectví, jak Hospodin Mojžíšovi přikázal. 22 Stůl postavil do stanu setkávání ke straně příbytku na sever, vně před oponu. 23 Uspořádal na něm chléb před Hospodinem, jak Hospodin Mojžíšovi přikázal. 24 Svícen postavil do stanu setkávání naproti stolu ke straně příbytku na jih 25 a nasadil kahánky před Hospodinem, jak Hospodin Mojžíšovi přikázal. 26 Zlatý oltář umístil ve stanu setkávání před oponu. 27 Pálil na něm kadidlo z vonných látek, jak Hospodin Mojžíšovi přikázal. 28 Na vchod do příbytku pověsil závěs. 29 Oltář pro zápalnou oběť postavil u vchodu do příbytku stanu setkávání. Na něm obětoval zápalnou a přídavnou oběť, jak Hospodin Mojžíšovi přikázal. 30 Mezi stan setkávání a oltář umístil nádrž a nalil do ní vodu k omývání. 31 Mojžíš, Áron a jeho synové si z ní omyli ruce a nohy. 32 Když přistupovali ke stanu setkávání a když se přibližovali k oltáři, omývali se, jak Hospodin Mojžíšovi přikázal. 33 Kolem příbytku a oltáře postavil nádvoří a do brány nádvoří pověsil závěs. Tak Mojžíš dokončil celé to dílo. 34 Tu oblak zahalil stan setkávání a příbytek naplnila Hospodinova sláva. 35 Mojžíš nemohl přistoupit ke stanu setkávání, neboť nad ním přebýval oblak a příbytek naplňovala Hospodinova sláva. 36 Kdykoli se oblak z příbytku zvedl, vytáhli Izraelci ze všech svých stanovišť. 37 Jestliže se oblak nezvedal, nevytáhli, dokud se nezvedl. 38 Hospodinův oblak býval ve dne nad příbytkem a v noci na něm planul oheň před očima celého domu izraelského na všech jejich stanovištích.

Tak oltář posvětíš, a bude svatosvatý. 11 Pomažeš i umyvadlo a jeho podstavec, a tak je posvětíš. 12 Potom přivedeš Árona a jeho syny ke vchodu do Stanu setkávání a omyješ je vodou. 13 Oblékneš Áronovi svatá roucha a pomažeš ho. Tak jej posvětíš, aby mi konal kněžskou službu. 14 Přivedeš také jeho syny, oblékneš jim suknice 15 a pomažeš je, jako jsi pomazal jejich otce, aby mi konali kněžskou službu. Tak zastřel Truhlu svědectví, jak mu Hospodin přikázal. 22 Před oponou, na severní straně Příbytku, pak ve Stanu setkávání postavil stůl 23 a před Hospodinem na něm uspořádal chleby, jak mu Hospodin přikázal. 24 Naproti stolu, na jižní straně Příbytku, postavil do Stanu setkávání svícen 25 a zapálil před Hospodinem kahany, jak mu Hospodin přikázal. 26 Před oponu ve Stanu setkávání postavil také zlatý oltář 27 a zapálil na něm vonné kadidlo, jak mu Hospodin přikázal. 28 Ve vchodu do Příbytku pověsil závěs. 29 Před vchodem do Příbytku, do Stanu setkávání, postavil oltář pro zápalné oběti a obětoval na něm zápalné i moučné oběti, jak mu Hospodin přikázal. 30 Mezi Stanem setkávání a oltářem postavil umyvadlo a nalil do něj vodu k omývání, 31 aby si v něm Mojžíš i Áron a jeho synové omývali ruce a nohy. 32 Kdykoli vcházeli do Stanu setkávání nebo přistupovali k oltáři, omývali se, jak mu Hospodin přikázal. 33 Okolo Příbytku a oltáře pak vztyčil zástěny nádvoří a do jeho brány pověsil závěs. Tak Mojžíš to dílo dokončil. 34 Tehdy Stan setkávání přikryl oblak a Příbytek naplnila Hospodinova sláva. 35 A Mojžíš nemohl vejít do Stanu setkávání, neboť na něm spočíval oblak a Příbytek naplňovala Hospodinova sláva. 36 Kdykoli se potom oblak nad Příbytkem vznesl, synové Izraele se vždy vydávali na cesty. 37 Pokud se však oblak nevznesl, nevycházeli až do dne, kdy se vznesl. 38 Ve dne byl nad Příbytkem Hospodinův oblak a v noci v něm byl oheň, před očima celého domu Izraele, na všech jejich cestách.

The Glory of the Lord

35 And Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 36 Throughout all their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out. (Nu 9,17; Nu 10,11; Neh 9,19) 37 But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not set out till the day that it was taken up. (Nu 9,19) 38 For the cloud of the Lord was on the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys.

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation. 3 And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail. 4 And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof. 5 And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle. 6 And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation. 7 And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein. 8 And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate. 9 And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy. 10 And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy. 11 And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it. 12 And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water. 13 And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest' office. 14 And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats: 15 And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest' office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations. 16 Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he. 17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up. 18 And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars. 19 And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses. 20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark: 21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses. 22 And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail. 23 And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses. 24 And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward. 25 And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses. 26 And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail: 27 And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the LORD commanded Moses. 28 And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle. 29 And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses. 30 And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal . 31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat: 32 When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses. 33 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work. 34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: 37 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up. 38 For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
