1Nebudeš vynášeti pověsti lživé. Neklaď s bezbožným ruky své, abys měl býti s ním svědek nepravý.2Nepostoupíš po množství ke zlému,a nebudeš se přimlouvati k rozepři, tak abys se uchýlil po větším počtu k převrácení soudu.3Ani chudého šanovati nebudeš v při jeho.4Trefil-li bys na vola nepřítele svého neb osla jeho, an bloudí, obrátíš a dovedeš ho k němu.5Uzřel-li bys an osel toho, jenž tě má v nenávisti, leží pod břemenem svým, zdaž se zdržíš, abys mu neměl pomoci? Nýbrž opravdově pomůžeš jemu, spolu s tím, kdož tě v nenávisti má.6Nepřevrátíš soudu chudého svého v jeho při.7Od slova lživého vzdálíš se. Nevinného a spravedlivého nezabiješ, nebo já neospravedlním bezbožného.8Aniž bráti budeš darů, nebo dar oslepuje i prozřetelné, a převrací slova spravedlivých.9Příchozího nebudeš ssužovati; nebo sami znáte, jaký jest život příchozích, poněvadž pohostinu jste byli v zemi Egyptské.10Po šest let osívati budeš zemi svou, a shromažďovati úrodu její;11Sedmého pak léta ponecháš jí, ať odpočine, aby jedli chudí lidu tvého. — Požadavek spravedlnosti - V otázkách cti, pravdy a pomoci postiženému musí platit bezpodmínečná spravedlnost.
1 Nebudeš šířit falešnou pověst. Nespřáhneš se se svévolníkem, aby ses stal zlovolným svědkem.2 Nepřidáš se k většině, páchá-li zlo. Nebudeš vypovídat ve sporu s ohledem na většinu a převracet právo.3 Ani nemajetnému nebudeš v jeho sporu nadržovat. 4 Když narazíš na býka svého nepřítele nebo na jeho zatoulaného osla, musíš mu jej vrátit.5 Když uvidíš, že osel toho, kdo tě nenávidí, klesá pod svým břemenem, zanecháš ho snad, aniž ho vyprostíš? Spolu s ním ho vyprostíš. 6 Nebudeš převracet právo ubožáka v jeho sporu.7 Buď dalek každého podvodu; nepřipustíš, aby byl zabit nevinný a spravedlivý, neboť svévolníka neospravedlním.8 Nebudeš brát úplatek, neboť úplatek oslepuje i ty, kdo mají oči otevřené, a vede k překrucování záležitostí spravedlivých.9 Nebudeš utlačovat hosta; víte přece, jak bývá hostu v duši, neboť jste byli hosty v egyptské zemi. 10 Po šest let budeš osévat svou zemi a sklízet z ní úrodu.11 Sedmého roku ji necháš ležet ladem. Nebudeš ji obdělávat, aby jedli ubožáci z tvého lidu, a co zbude, spase polní zvěř. — Výroční slavnosti - Každý Izraelec si má připomínat Boží spasitelné skutky aspoň o třech výročních slavnostech účastí ve svatyni.
14 Třikrát v roce budeš slavit mé slavnosti:15 Budeš zachovávat slavnost nekvašených chlebů. Po sedm dní budeš jíst nekvašené chleby, jak jsem ti přikázal, a to v určený čas měsíce ábíbu (to je měsíce klasů), neboť tehdy jsi vyšel z Egypta. Nikdo se neukáže před mou tváří s prázdnou.16 Budeš zachovávat též slavnost žně, prvních snopků z výtěžku toho, co jsi zasel na poli, a slavnost sklizně plodin na konci roku, kdy sklízíš z pole výsledek své práce.17 Třikrát v roce se ukáže každý, kdo je mužského pohlaví, před Pánem Hospodinem.18 Nebudeš obětovat dobytče tak, aby krev mého obětního hodu vytekla na něco kvašeného. Nebudeš přechovávat tuk z mé slavnosti přes noc až do rána.19 Prvotiny raných plodů své role přineseš do domu Hospodina, svého Boha. Nebudeš vařit kůzle v mléku jeho matky.
— Zaslíbení a výstrahy - Hospodin slibuje svému lidu ochranu cestou do zaslíbené země i v ní, bude-li lid poslouchat a plnit všechny jeho příkazy.
20 Hle, posílám před tebou posla, aby tě opatroval na cestě a aby tě uvedl na místo, které jsem připravil.21 Měj se před ním na pozoru a poslouchej ho, nevzdoruj mu, neboť přestupky vám nepromine, poněvadž v něm je mé jméno.22 Když jej však budeš opravdu poslouchat a činit všechno, co mluvím, stanu se nepřítelem tvých nepřátel a protivníkem tvých protivníků.23 Můj posel půjde před tebou a uvede tě k Emorejcům, Chetejcům a Perizejcům, ke Kenaancům, Chivejcům a Jebúsejcům, a já je zničím.24 Nebudeš se klanět jejich bohům a nebudeš jim sloužit. 10„Šest let osívej svou zem a shromažďuj její úrodu.11Sedmého roku ji ale nech ležet ladem, aby se najedli ubožáci z tvého lidu. Co zbude po nich, spase polní zvěř. Právě tak nalož se svou vinicí a svým olivovím.12Šest dní dělej svou práci, ale sedmého dne přestaň, aby si tvůj býk i osel odpočinul a tvůj otrok i nádeník nabrali dech.13Dbejte na všechno, co jsem vám řekl. Jména cizích bohů nezmiňujte; ať se ze tvých úst ani neozvou.“
Výroční slavnosti
14„Třikrát ročně mi budeš slavit slavnost.15Zachovávej Slavnost nekvašených chlebů.[1] Po sedm dní jez nekvašené chleby, jak jsem ti přikázal, v určený čas měsíce avivu, neboť v něm jsi vyšel z Egypta. Nikdo ať se přede mnou neukáže s prázdnou.16Zachovávej Slavnost žní,[2] kdy sklidíš prvotiny své práce, prvotiny toho, co jsi zasel na poli. Zachovávej Slavnost dožínek[3] na konci roku, když z pole sklidíš plody své práce.17Třikrát za rok ať se každý, kdo je u tebe mužského pohlaví, ukáže před Hospodinem, svým Pánem.18Neobětuj krev mé oběti s čímkoli kvašeným. Z tuku mé slavnostní oběti ať do rána nic nezbude.19Nejlepší prvotiny své země přines do domu Hospodina, svého Boha. Nevař kůzle v mléce jeho matky.“
Posílám před tebou anděla
20„Hle, posílám před tebou anděla, aby tě opatroval na cestě a přivedl tě na místo, které jsem připravil.21Měj ho ve vážnosti a poslouchej ho, nepopouzej ho. Neodpustí totiž vaše provinění – vždyť v něm přebývá mé jméno!22Budeš-li jej však opravdu poslouchat a činit vše, co říkám, budu nepřítelem tvých nepřátel a protivníkem tvých protivníků.23Můj anděl půjde před tebou a přivede tě k Emorejcům, Chetejcům, Perizejcům, Kanaáncům, Hivejcům a Jebusejcům. Až je vyhladím,24nebudeš se klanět jejich bohům, sloužit jim ani se chovat podle jejich zvyklostí, ale naprosto je zničíš a jejich posvátné sloupy roztříštíš na kusy.25Budete sloužit Hospodinu, svému Bohu, a on požehná tvému chlebu i tvé vodě. Sabbatjahr und Sabbat
10Sechs Jahre kannst du in deinem Land säen und die Ernte einbringen;11im siebten sollst du es brachliegen lassen und nicht bestellen. Die Armen in deinem Volk sollen davon essen, den Rest mögen die Tiere des Feldes fressen. Das Gleiche sollst du mit deinem Weinberg und deinen Ölbäumen tun.12Sechs Tage kannst du deine Arbeit verrichten, am siebten Tag aber sollst du ruhen, damit dein Rind und dein Esel ausruhen und der Sohn deiner Sklavin und der Fremde zu Atem kommen.13Auf alles, was ich euch gesagt habe, sollt ihr achten. Den Namen eines anderen Gottes sollt ihr nicht aussprechen, er soll dir nicht über die Lippen kommen.
Die drei Feste, Opfervorschriften
14Dreimal im Jahr sollst du mir ein Fest feiern. (Ex 34,18; Dt 16,1)15Du sollst das Fest der Ungesäuerten Brote halten. Im Monat Abib sollst du zur festgesetzten Zeit sieben Tage lang ungesäuertes Brot essen, wie ich es dir geboten habe. Denn in diesem Monat bist du aus Ägypten ausgezogen. Man soll nicht mit leeren Händen vor meinem Angesicht erscheinen.16Du sollst auch das Fest der Ernte, des ersten Ertrags deiner Aussaat auf dem Feld, halten, ebenso das Fest der Lese am Ende des Jahres, wenn du den Ertrag deines Feldes eingebracht hast.17Dreimal im Jahr sollen alle deine Männer vor dem Antlitz des Herrn erscheinen, vor dem HERRN.18Beim Schlachten sollst du das Blut meines Opfers nicht über gesäuertes Brot fließen lassen. 1Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.2Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment :3Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.4If thou meet thine enemy' ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.5If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.6Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.7Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.8And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.9Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.10And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:11But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat.
