A toť jest všecko mé spasení a všeliká útěcha, že nic tak vzdělávati se nebude.6Bezbožní pak všickni vypléněni budou jako trní, kteréž rukou bráno nebývá.7Ale kdož by se ho chtěl dotknouti, vezme železo a žerď, aneb ohněm docela spálí je tu, kdež zrostlo.8Tato jsou jména nejudatnějších Davidových: Jošeb Bašebet Tachmonský, přední z vůdců, jehož rozkoš byla s kopím pojednou udeřiti na osm set ku pobití jich.9A po něm Eleazar syn Dodi, syna Achochi, mezi třmi silnými, kteříž byli s Davidem, když se opovážili proti Filistinským shromážděným tam k boji, když již byli odtáhli muži Izraelští.10Ten vstav, bil Filistinské, až ustala ruka jeho a ostála se při meči. V ten den zajisté učinil Hospodin vysvobození veliké, tak že se lid za ním navrátil, toliko aby kořisti vzebral.11Po něm pak byl Samma syn Age Hararský. Nebo když se byli shromáždili Filistinští v hromadu tu, kdež bylo díl rolí poseté šocovicí, a lid utekl před Filistinskými:12Tedy postavil se u prostřed dílu toho, a vysvobodil jej, a porazil Filistinské. I učinil Hospodin vysvobození veliké.13Sstoupili také ti tři z třidcíti předních, a přišli ve žni k Davidovi do jeskyně Adulam, když vojsko Filistinské leželo v údolí Refaim.14(Nebo David tehdáž byl v pevnosti své, a osazený lid Filistinských byl u Betléma.)15Zechtělo se pak Davidovi vody, a řekl: Ó by mi někdo dal píti vody z čisterny Betlémské, kteráž jest u brány!16A protož probivše se ti tři udatní skrze vojsko Filistinských, navážili vody z čisterny Betlémské, kteráž byla u brány, kterouž nesli a donesli k Davidovi. On pak nechtěl jí píti, ale obětoval ji Hospodinu,17A řekl: Nedejž mi toho, ó Hospodine, abych to učiniti měl. Zdaliž to není krev mužů těch, kteříž šli, opováživše se života svého? I nechtěl jí píti. To učinili ti tři silní.18Potom Abizai bratr Joábův, syn Sarvie, byl přední mezi třmi, kterýž pozdvihl kopí svého proti třem stům, kteréž i pobil, a byl z těch tří nejslovoutnější.19Z těch tří on jsa nejslavnější, byl knížetem jejich, a však oněm třem nebyl rovný.20Banaiáš také syn Joiadův, syn muže udatného, velikých činů, z Kabsael, ten porazil dva reky Moábské. Tentýž sstoupiv, zabil lva v jámě, když byl sníh.21Ten také zabil muže Egyptského, muže ku podivení, a měl Egyptský v rukou kopí. I šel k němu s holí, a vytrh kopí z ruky toho Egyptského, zabil ho kopím jeho.22To učinil Banaiáš syn Joiadův, kterýž také slovoutný byl mezi těmi třmi silnými.23A ač byl mezi třidcíti nejslavnější, však oněm třem se nevrovnal. 1 Toto jsou Davidova poslední slova: „Výrok Davida, syna Jišajova, výrok muže Nejvyšším povýšeného, pomazaného Bohem Jákobovým, líbezného pěvce izraelských žalmů. 2 Hospodinův duch skrze mne mluvil, na mém jazyku byla řeč jeho. 3 Pravil mi Bůh Izraele, skála Izraele ke mně promluvila: Kdo člověku vládne spravedlivě, ten, kdo vládne v Boží bázni, 4 je jak jitřní světlo při východu slunce, jak bez mráčku jitro, od jehož jasu a vláhy se zelená země. 5 I když můj dům před Bohem takový není, ustanovil pro mne věčnou smlouvu ve všem uspořádanou a dodrženou. Je to veškerá má spása a veškeré blaho, odjinud nevzejde nic. 6 Ničemník bude jak trní zavržené všemi, nikdo na ně rukou nesáhne. 7 Ten, kdo by se ho chtěl dotknout, vezme železo, násadu kopí. Budou sežehnuti a spáleni ohněm ve svém sídle.“
DAVIDOVI BOHATÝŘI - Seznam těch, kdo Davidovi pomáhali v boji; jejich mimořádné činy.
8 Toto jsou jména Davidových bohatýrů: Jóšeb Bašebet Tachkemónský, vůdce osádky. Ten s rozkoší vrhal oštěp; naráz jich proklál osm set. 9 Po něm Eleazar, syn Dóda, syna Achóchiova, jeden ze tří bohatýrů, kteří byli s Davidem, když dráždili Pelištejce a ti se tam shromáždili k boji; izraelští muži též přitáhli.10 Povstal a bil Pelištejce, až se mu ruka unavila a křečovitě svírala meč. Toho dne připravil Hospodin veliké vysvobození. Lid se obrátil za ním a už jen obíral pobité. 11 Po něm byl Šama, syn Ageův, Hararský. Pelištejci se shromáždili do houfu; byl tam díl pole plný čočky. Lid před Pelištejci utíkal.12On se postavil doprostřed toho dílu, osvobodil jej a bil Pelištejce. Tak Hospodin připravil veliké vysvobození. 13 Jiní tři ze třiceti vůdců sestoupili a přišli o žních k Davidovi do jeskyně Adulámu. Pelištejský houf ležel v dolině Refájců.14 David byl tehdy ve skalní skrýši, postavení Pelištejců bylo tenkrát u Betléma.15 Tu David zatoužil: „Kdo mi dá napít vody z betlémské studny, která je u brány?“16 Ti tři bohatýři vtrhli do pelištejského tábora, načerpali vodu z betlémské studny, která je u brány, a přinesli ji Davidovi. On však nechtěl pít, nýbrž vykonal jí úlitbu Hospodinu.17Řekl: „Hospodine, nechť jsem dalek toho, abych udělal něco takového. Což to není krev mužů, kteří šli s nasazením života?“ Proto se jí nechtěl napít. To vykonali ti tři bohatýři. 18 Také Abíšaj, bratr Jóabův, syn Serújin, byl vůdce tří. I on zamával kopím a proklál jich na tři sta. Mezi těmi třemi byl nejproslulejší.19 Byl z těch tří nejváženější a byl jejich velitelem, ale oněm třem prvním se nevyrovnal. 20 Benajáš, syn Jójady, syna zdatného muže z Kabseelu, muže mnoha činů, ubil dva moábské reky a sestoupil a ubil v jámě lva; byl tehdy sníh.21 Ubil též Egypťana hrozného vzezření; Egypťan měl v ruce kopí. Sestoupil k němu s holí, vytrhl Egypťanovi kopí z ruky a jeho vlastním kopím ho zabil.22 Toto vykonal Benajáš, syn Jójadův. A byl mezi těmi třemi bohatýry proslulý.23 Z těch třiceti byl nejváženější, ale oněm třem prvním se nevyrovnal. Davidovi hrdinové
8Zde jsou jména Davidových hrdinů: Jošeb-bašebet Tachkemonský, velitel Trojice. Uměl to s kopím tak, že[1] jich jednou pobil na osm set.9Další z té trojice hrdinů byl Eleazar, syn Doda, syna Achochiova. Ten byl s Davidem, když se odvážili na Filištíny. Ti se shromáždili k boji, a tak vytáhli také Izraelci;10tehdy vstal a pobíjel Filištíny, až mu ruka ztuhla, že nemohl pustit meč. Lid jen postupoval za ním a obíral pobité. Hospodin toho dne způsobil veliké vítězství.11Po něm byl Šama, syn Agea Hararského. Filištíni se jednou shromáždili u dílu pole osetého čočkou a lid se před nimi dal na útěk.12Šama se ale postavil doprostřed toho pole, uhájil je a Filištíny odrazil. Hospodin tehdy způsobil veliké vítězství.13Tito tři z třicítky velitelů sestoupili o žních k Davidovi do jeskyně Adulam, když v údolí Refaim tábořil oddíl Filištínů.14David byl tehdy ve skalní pevnosti. Betlém byl obsazen Filištíny.15David tenkrát zatoužil: „Kéž bych se mohl napít vody z té betlémské studny u brány.“16A tak se ta trojice hrdinů probila do filištínského tábora a navážila vodu z betlémské studny u brány. Vzali ji a donesli Davidovi. Ten se jí ale odmítl napít, ale vylil ji jako oběť Hospodinu.17„Hospodin chraň,“ zvolal, „vždyť je to krev těch mužů! Šli tam s nasazením života!“ A nechtěl se napít. Takové činy konala tato trojice hrdinů.18Velitelem Třicítky[2] byl Joábův bratr Abišaj, syn Ceruji. Oháněl se kopím tak, že jich pobil na tři sta, a tak se stal stejně známým jako ona Trojice.19Vskutku, mezi Třicítkou byl slavný a byl jejich velitelem, ale Trojici se nevyrovnal.20Také Benajáš, syn Jojadův z Kabceelu, byl udatný bojovník mocných činů. To on zabil ty dva Moábce, kteří se bili jako lvi. A jednou slezl do jámy a zabil v ní lva, tenkrát, když napadl sníh.21Jindy šel a zabil Egypťana jen s holí v ruce. Egypťan vypadal hrozivě, byl ozbrojen kopím. On mu je ale vytrhl z ruky a zabil ho jím.22Takové činy konal Benajáš, syn Jojadův, a tak se stal stejně známým jako Trojice.23Mezi Třicítkou byl slavný, ale Trojici se nevyrovnal. Er war bei David, als sie die Philister mit Schmach bedeckten. Sie sammelten sich dort zum Krieg. Als sich die Israeliten zurückzogen, (1Pa 27,4)10hielt er stand und schlug auf die Philister ein, bis seine Hand erlahmte. Seine Hand blieb am Schwert haften. So bewirkte der HERR an jenem Tag einen großen Sieg. Das Volk kehrte wieder um und folgte Eleasar, aber nur noch, um zu plündern. (1S 19,5)11Nach ihm kommt der Harariter Schamma, der Sohn Ages. 1Now these be the last words of David.
