1 И като свика дванадесетте, даде им сила и власт над всички демони и да изцеляват болести. 2 И ги изпрати да проповядват Божието царство и да изцеляват болните. 3 И им каза: Не вземайте нищо за из път – нито тояга, нито торба, нито хляб, нито пари, нито да имате по две ризи. 4 И в която къща влезете, там отсядайте и оттам тръгвайте на път. 5 И ако някои не ви приемат, когато излизате от онзи град, отърсете и праха от краката си за свидетелство против тях. 6 И те тръгнаха и отиваха по селата, и проповядваха благовестието, и изцеляваха навсякъде. 7 А четверовластникът Ирод чу за всичко, което беше извършено от Него и беше в недоумение; защото някои казваха, че Йоан е възкръснал от мъртвите; 8 други пък – че Илия се е явил; а други – че един от старовременните пророци е възкръсналст. 19;. 9 И Ирод каза: Йоан аз обезглавих. А кой е Този, за когото слушам такива неща? И желаеше да Го види. 10 И като се върнаха апостолите, разказаха на Иисус всичко, което бяха извършили; и Той ги взе и се оттегли насаме (в уединено място) до един град, наречен Витсаида. 11 А множествата, като разбраха това, Го последваха; и Той ги прие с готовност и им говореше за Божието царство, и изцеляваше онези, които имаха нужда от изцеление. 12 И когато денят започна да отминава, дванадесетте се приближиха и Му казаха: Разпусни множествата, за да отидат в околните села и колиби да нощуват и да си намерят храна, защото тук сме в уединено място. 13 Но Той им каза: Дайте им вие да ядат. А те казаха: Нямаме повече от пет хляба и две риби, освен ако отидем и купим храна за целия този народ. 14 Защото имаше около пет хиляди мъже. И каза на учениците Си: Накарайте ги да насядат на групи по петдесет души. 15 Те направиха така и накараха всички да насядат. 16 А Той взе петте хляба и двете риби и погледна към небето, и ги благослови; и като ги разчупи, даде на учениците да сложат пред множеството. 17 И ядоха и всички се наситиха; и вдигнаха къшеите, които им останаха – дванадесет коша. 18 И когато Той се молеше насаме и учениците бяха с Него, ги попита, казвайки: Какво казва множеството, кой съм Аз? 19 А те в отговор казаха: Едни казват, че си Йоан Кръстител; други – Илия; трети пък – че един от старовременните пророци е възкръсналст. 7-8;. 20 Тогава им каза: А вие какво казвате, кой съм Аз? Петър в отговор каза: Божият Христос. 21 А Той ги предупреди и им заповяда да не казват на никого, като каза: 22 Човешкият Син трябва много да пострада и да бъде отхвърлен от старейшините, главните свещеници и книжниците, да бъде убит и на третия ден да бъде възкресен[1]. 23 Каза още и на всички: Ако иска някой да дойде след Мен, нека се отрече от себе си, нека носи кръста си всеки ден и нека Ме следва. 24 Защото, който иска да спаси живота си, ще го изгуби, а който изгуби живота си заради Мен, той ще го спаси. 25 Понеже какво се ползува човек, ако спечели целия свят, а изгуби или ощети себе си? 26 Защото, ако се срамува някой от Мен и от думите Ми, то и Човешкият Син ще се срамува от него, когато дойде в славата Си и в славата на Отца и на светите ангели. 27 А казвам ви наистина: има някои от тук стоящите, които никак няма да вкусят смърт, докато не видят Божието царство. 28 И около осем дни след като каза това, Той взе със Себе Си Петър, Йоан и Яков и се качи на планината да се моли. 29 И като се молеше, видът на лицето Му се измени и облеклото Му стана бяло и блестящо. 30 И ето, двама мъже се разговаряха с Него; те бяха Мойсей и Илия, 31 които се явиха в слава и говореха за Неговата смърт, която Му предстоеше да изпълни в Ерусалимст. 51;. 32 А Петър и онези, които бяха с него, ги беше налегнал сън; но когато се разбудиха, видяха славата Му и двамата мъже, които стояха с Него. 33 И когато те се разделиха с Него, Петър каза на Иисус: Наставниче, добре е да сме тук; и нека направим три шатри: една за Теб, една за Мойсей и една за Илия – без да знае какво говори. 34 И докато казваше това, дойде облак и ги засени; и учениците се уплашиха, като влязоха в облака. 35 И от облака дойде глас, който каза: Този е Моят възлюбен Син. И те замълчаха и в онези дни не казваха на никого нищо от това, което бяха видели. 37 И на следващия ден, когато слязоха от планината, Го срещна голямо множество. 38 И ето, един човек от множеството извика и каза: Учителю, моля Ти се да погледнеш на сина ми, защото ми е единствено дете. 39 И ето, хваща го дух и той изведнъж закрещява и духът го сгърчва така, че той се запеня, и като го смазва, едва го напуска. 40 Помолих Твоите ученици да го изгонят, но не можаха. 41 Иисус в отговор каза: О, роде невярващ и извратен! Докога ще бъда с вас и ще ви търпя? Доведи сина си тук. 42 И още докато идваше, демонът го тръшна и сгърчи силно; а Иисус смъмри нечистия дух, изцели момчето и го върна на баща му. 43 И всички се чудеха на Божието величие. А докато всички се чудеха на всичко, което правеше, Той каза на учениците Си: 44 Вложете в ушите си тези думи, защото Човешкият Син ще бъде предаден в човешки ръцест. 22;. 45 Но те не разбраха тази дума, тя беше скрита от тях, за да не я разберат; а се бояха да Го попитат за тази дума. 46 И между тях се повдигна спор – кой от тях ще бъде по-голям. 47 А Иисус, като видя мисълта на сърцето им, взе едно детенце, постави го при Себе Си и им каза: 48 Който приеме това дете в Мое Име, Мен приема; и който приеме Мен, приема Този, който Ме е пратил; защото, който е най-малък между всички вас, той ще бъде голям. 49 А Йоан заговори и каза: Наставниче, видяхме един човек да изгонва демони в Твое Име и му забранихме, защото не следва с нас. 50 А Иисус му каза: Не забранявайте, защото, който не е против вас, е откъм вас. 51 И когато се навършиха дните да се възнесе, Той насочи лицето Си по пътя за Ерусалим[2]. 52 И изпрати пред Себе Си вестители, които отидоха и влязоха в едно самарянско село да приготвят за Него. 53 Но не Го приеха, защото лицето Му беше обърнато към Ерусалим. 54 Когато учениците Му Яков и Йоан видяха това, казаха: Господи, искаш ли да заповядаме да падне огън от небето и да ги изтреби, (както стори и Илия)? 55 А Той се обърна и ги смъмри, (и каза: Вие не знаете на какъв дух сте; защото Човешкият Син не е дошъл да погуби човешки души, а да спаси). 56 И отидоха в друго село. 57 А като вървяха по пътя, един човек Му каза: Господи, ще Те следвам, където и да идеш! 58 Иисус му каза: Лисиците си имат леговища и небесните птици – гнезда, а Човешкият Син няма къде глава да подслони. 59 А на друг каза: Следвай Ме. А той каза: Господи, позволи ми първо да отида и да погреба баща си. 60 Но Той му каза: Остави мъртвите да погребват своите мъртъвци, а ти иди и разгласявай Божието царство. 61 Каза и друг: Ще Те следвам, Господи; но първо ми позволи да се сбогувам с домашните си. 62 А Иисус му каза: Никой, който е сложил ръката си на плуга и гледа назад, не е годен за Божието царство.

1 And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, (Мт 10:1; Мк 3:13; Мк 6:7) 2 and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal. (Мт 10:5; Мт 10:7; Лк 4:43; Лк 9:11; Лк 9:60; Лк 10:1; Лк 10:9) 3 And he said to them, “Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not have two tunics.[1] (Мт 10:9; Мк 6:8; Лк 10:4; Лк 22:35) 4 And whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. 5 And wherever they do not receive you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” (Неем 5:13; Мк 1:44; Д А 13:51; Д А 18:6; Як 5:3) 6 And they departed and went through the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere. And he took them and withdrew apart to a town called Bethsaida. And he said to his disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.” 15 And they did so, and had them all sit down. 16 And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing over them. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father. (Лк 10:33; Йн 4:9; Йн 4:20) 54 And when his disciples James and John saw it, they said, “Lord, do you want us to tell fire to come down from heaven and consume them?”[5] (Отк 13:13) 55 But he turned and rebuked them.[6] 56 And they went on to another village. 57 As they were going along the road, someone said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.” (Мт 8:19; Лк 9:51) 58 And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.” 59 To another he said, “Follow me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” 60 And Jesus[7] said to him, “Leave the dead to bury their own dead.
