1 А в първия ден на седмицата, много рано сутринта, те дойдоха на гроба, като носеха благоуханните масла, които бяха приготвили. 2 И намериха камъка преместен от гроба. 3 И като влязоха, не намериха тялото на Господ Иисус. 4 И когато бяха в недоумение за това, ето, пред тях застанаха двама мъже с блестящи дрехи. 5 И както бяха обзети от страх и навели лицата си към земята, мъжете им казаха: Защо търсите живия между мъртвите? 6 Няма Го тук, а възкръсна. Спомнете си какво ви говореше, когато беше още в Галилея[1], 7 като казваше, че Човешкият Син трябва да бъде предаден в ръцете на грешни хора, да бъде разпънат и на третия ден да възкръснест. 26-46;. 8 И те си спомниха думите Му. 9 И като се върнаха от гроба, известиха всичко това на единадесетте и на всички други. 10 Това бяха Мария Магдалена и Йоана, и Мария, майката на Яков, и другите жени с тях, които казаха тези неща на апостолите. 11 А тези думи им се видяха като празни приказки и не им повярваха. 12 А Петър стана и изтича на гроба, и като надникна, видя да лежат само саваните; и отиде у дома си, чудейки се за станалото. 13 И ето, в същия ден двама от тях отиваха в едно село на име Емаус, на шестдесет стадияоколо 11 км далеч от Ерусалим. 14 И те се разговаряха помежду си за всичко онова, което беше станало. 15 И като се разговаряха и разсъждаваха, Сам Иисус се приближи и вървеше с тях; 16 но очите им бяха възпрени, за да не Го познаят. 17 И им каза: Какви са тези думи, които разменяте помежду си, като пътувате? А те Му казаха: Това, което стана с Иисус Назарянина, който беше Пророк, силен в дело и в слово пред Бога и целия народ; 20 как нашите главни свещеници и началници Го предадоха да бъде осъден на смърт и Го разпънаха. 21 А ние се надявахме, че Той е Онзи, който ще избави Израил. И освен всичко това, вече е третият ден, откакто стана това. 22 При това и някои жени измежду нас ни смаяха, които, като отишли рано сутринта на гроба 23 и не намерили тялото Му, дойдоха и казаха, че видели и видение от ангели, които казали, че Той бил живст. 10;. 24 И някои от онези, които бяха с нас, отидоха на гроба и намериха така, както казаха жените; но Него не видели. 25 Тогава Той им каза: О, неразбрани и мудни по сърце да вярвате всичко, което са говорили пророцитест. 44;! 26 Не трябваше ли Христос да пострада така[2] и да влезе в Своята слава? 27 И като започна от Мойсей и от всичките пророци, им тълкуваше писаното за Него във всичките Писания[3]. 28 И те се приближиха до селото, в което отиваха; а Той се държеше, като че отива по-надалеч. 29 Но те Го принуждаваха, като казваха: Остани с нас, защото е привечер и денят вече е превалил. И Той влезе да отседне с тях. 30 И когато седеше с тях на трапезата, взе хляба, благослови, разчупи и им го даде. 31 Тогава очите им се отвориха и те Го познаха; но Той стана невидим за тях. 32 И те си казаха един на друг: Не гореше ли в нас сърцето ни, когато ни говореше по пътя и когато ни откриваше Писанията? 33 И в същия час станаха и се върнаха в Ерусалим, където намериха събрани единадесетте и тези, които бяха с тях, 34 да казват: Господ наистина възкръснал и се явил на Симон. 35 А те разказаха за случилото се по пътя и как Го познаха, когато разчупваше хляба. 36 И когато говореха за това, Сам Иисус застана между тях и им каза: Мир вам! 37 А те се стреснаха и се уплашиха, като мислеха, че виждат дух. 38 И Той им каза: Защо се смущавате? И защо се пораждат такива мисли в сърцата ви? 39 Погледнете ръцете Ми и краката Ми – че Аз съм същият; попипайте Ме и вижте, защото духът няма плът и кости, както виждате, че Аз имам. 40 И като каза това, им показа ръцете и краката Си. 41 Но понеже те от радост още не вярваха и се чудеха, Той каза: Имате ли тук нещо за ядене? 42 И Му дадоха парче печена риба (и парче медена пита). 43 И взе и яде пред тях. 44 И им каза: Тези са думите, които ви говорих, когато бях още с вас[4], че трябва да се изпълни всичко, което е писано за Мен в Мойсеевия закон, в пророците и в псалмите[5]. 45 Тогава им отвори ума, за да разберат Писаниятаст. 27;. 46 И им каза: Така е писано, че Христос трябваше да пострада и да възкръсне от мъртвите на третия ден[6], 47 и че трябва да се проповядва покаяние и опрощаване на греховете в Негово Име на всички народи, като се започне от Ерусалим. 48 Вие сте свидетели на това. 49 И ето, Аз изпращам върху вас обещанието на Отца Ми; а вие стойте в града (Ерусалим), докато се облечете със сила от горе. 50 И ги заведе до едно място срещу Витания и вдигна ръцете Си и ги благослови. 51 И като ги благославяше, се отдели от тях и се възнесе на небето. 52 И те Му се поклониха и се върнаха в Ерусалим с голяма радост; 53 и бяха постоянно в храма, като хвалеха и благославяха Бога. 1 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. (Мт 28:1; Мк 16:1; Лк 23:56; Йн 20:1) 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, (Мт 27:60; Мк 15:46) 3 but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. (Йн 20:12; Д А 1:10; Д А 10:30) 5 And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? (Лк 24:37) 6 He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, (Мт 17:22; Мк 9:30; Лк 9:22; Лк 9:44; Лк 24:44) 7 that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.” (Мт 20:19; Лк 9:22; Лк 13:33; Лк 24:6) 8 And they remembered his words, (Йн 2:22; Йн 12:1) 9 and returning from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. (Йн 20:18) 10 Now it was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles, (Мт 27:56; Мк 15:40; Лк 8:3) 11 but these words seemed to them an idle tale, and they did not believe them. (Мк 16:11; Мк 16:16) 12 But Peter rose and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths by themselves; and he went home marveling at what had happened. (Йн 19:40; Йн 20:3) 13 That very day two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, about seven miles[1] from Jerusalem, (Мк 16:12) 14 and they were talking with each other about all these things that had happened. 15 While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus himself drew near and went with them. 16 But their eyes were kept from recognizing him. (Лк 9:45; Лк 18:34; Лк 24:31; Йн 20:14; Йн 21:4) 17 And he said to them, “What is this conversation that you are holding with each other as you walk?” And they stood still, looking sad. 18 Then one of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?” 19 And he said to them, “What things?” And they said to him, “Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, (Мт 21:11; Д А 2:22; Д А 7:22) 20 and how our chief priests and rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him. They were at the tomb early in the morning, (Лк 24:1) 23 and when they did not find his body, they came back saying that they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive. He acted as if he were going farther, (Мк 6:48) 29 but they urged him strongly, saying, “Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is now far spent.” So he went in to stay with them. (Лк 9:12) 30 When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them. (Мт 14:19) 31 And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their sight. (Лк 4:30; Лк 24:16) 32 They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?” (Пс 39:3; Лк 24:45) 33 And they rose that same hour and returned to Jerusalem. And they found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, (Мк 16:13; Д А 1:14; Д А 17:3) 34 saying, “The Lord has risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” (1 Кор 15:5) 35 Then they told what had happened on the road, and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread. (Лк 24:30; Д А 2:42) 36 As they were talking about these things, Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, “Peace to you!” (Мк 16:14; Йн 20:19) 37 But they were startled and frightened and thought they saw a spirit. (Мт 14:26; Мк 6:49; Лк 21:9; Лк 24:5) 38 And he said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39 See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” (Йн 20:27; 1 Йн 1:1) 40 And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. (Йн 20:20) 41 And while they still disbelieved for joy and were marveling, he said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?” (Бит 45:26; Йн 21:5; Д А 12:14) 42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish,[2] 43 and he took it and ate before them. 44 Then he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” (Лк 24:6; Лк 24:27) 45 Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, (Йов 33:16; Пс 119:18; Лк 24:32; Д А 16:14; 1 Йн 5:20) 46 and said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, (Мт 26:24; Лк 24:7; Лк 24:26; Йн 20:9) 47 and that repentance for[3] the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. But stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” (Йов 29:14; Пс 132:9; Ис 32:15; Лк 1:78; Йн 14:26; Д А 1:4; Д А 1:8; Д А 2:16; Д А 2:33; Еф 1:13) 50 And he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them. (Мт 21:17; Йн 11:18; Д А 1:12) 51 While he blessed them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven. (Мк 16:19) 52 And they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, (Мт 28:9; Лк 24:50; Йн 16:22) 53 and were continually in the temple blessing God.
