от Veren1Слушайте ме, острови, и внимавайте, далечни племена! ГОСПОД ме призова още от утробата, от скута на майка ми оповести името ми.2Направи устата ми като остър меч, скри ме под сянката на ръката Си и ме направи излъскана стрела, скри ме в колчана Си.3И ми каза: Ти си Мой служител, Израил, в когото ще се прославя.4А аз казах: Напразно съм се трудил, напусто и за нищо съм изтощавал силата си. Но наистина правото ми е у ГОСПОДА и наградата ми е у моя Бог.5И сега, казва ГОСПОД, който ме образува от утробата за Свой служител, за да върна при Него Яков и да се събере при Него Израил – защото съм почитан в очите на ГОСПОДА и моят Бог е силата ми –6да, Той казва: Малко е да Ми бъдеш служител, за да изправиш племената на Яков и да върнеш опазените от Израил – ще те дам за светлина на народите, за да бъдеш Моето спасение до края на земята.7Така казва ГОСПОД, Изкупителят на Израил, Светият негов, на онзи, когото човек презира, на онзи, от когото се гнуси народът, на слугата на владетелите: Царе ще видят и ще станат, князе – и ще се поклонят, заради ГОСПОДА, който е верен, Светият Израилев, който те избра.8Така казва ГОСПОД: В благоприятно време те послушах и в спасителен ден ти помогнах. Ще те запазя и ще те дам за завет на народа, за да изправиш земята, да направиш да наследят запустелите наследства,9да кажеш на затворниците: Излезте! – на онези, които са в мрак: Покажете се! Те ще пасат по пътищата и по всички голи височини ще бъдат пасбищата им.10Няма да огладнеят и няма да ожаднеят, няма да ги удари нито жега, нито слънце, защото Онзи, който се смили за тях, ще ги води и ще ги заведе при водни извори.11И ще направя всичките Си планини на пътища и насипаните Ми пътища ще се издигнат.12Ето, тези ще дойдат отдалеч, и ето, тези – от север и от запад, а тези – от синимската земя.13Ликувайте, небеса, и радвай се, земьо, извикайте от радост, планини, защото ГОСПОД утеши народа Си и се смили за наскърбените Си!14А Сион каза: ГОСПОД ме е оставил и Господ ме е забравил.15Може ли жена да забрави кърмачето си, да не се смили над рожбата на утробата си? Дори и тези да забравят, Аз пак няма да те забравя!16Ето, на дланите Си съм те врязал, стените ти са винаги пред Мен.17Синовете ти ще дойдат бързо, разорителите ти и запустителите ти ще си отидат от теб.18Повдигни очите си наоколо и виж: Те всички се събират, идват при тебст. 17;. Жив съм Аз, заявява ГОСПОД – ти ще се облечеш с всички тях като с украшение и ще се накичиш с тях като невяста.19Защото разорените ти и запустелите ти места и опустошената ти земя, да, сега ще бъдат тесни за жителите, а онези, които те поглъщаха, ще бъдат далеч.20Дори ще кажат в ушите ти синовете, от които си била лишена: Тясно ми е мястото, направи ми място, за да се населя.21Тогава ще кажеш в сърцето си: Кой ми роди тези, когато аз бях лишена от децата си и безплодна, заточена и скитница? И кой отгледа тези? Ето, аз бях останала сама; тези къде бяха?22Така казва Господ БОГ: Ето, ще издигна ръката Си към народите, ще извися знамето Си към племената и те ще доведат синовете ти на ръце и дъщерите ти ще се донесат на рамене.23Царе ще бъдат твои хранители и княгините им – твои дойки. Ще ти се покланят с лице до земята и ще лижат праха на краката ти. И ще познаеш, че Аз съм ГОСПОД, че онези, които Ме чакат, няма да се посрамят.24Може ли да се отнеме плячката от силния или пленникът на мощния да избяга?25Но така казва ГОСПОД: И пленниците на силния ще се отнемат, и плячката на страшния ще избяга. И Аз ще се съдя с онзи, който се съди с теб, и ще спася синовете ти.26И ще нахраня притеснителите ти със собствените им меса и със собствената си кръв ще се опият като с ново вино. И всяко създание ще познае, че Аз, ГОСПОД, съм твоят Спасител и Силният Яковов – твоят Изкупител.
1Listen to me, O coastlands, and give attention, you peoples from afar. The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name. (Ис 11:11; Ис 33:13; Ис 44:2)2He made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me a polished arrow; in his quiver he hid me away. (Ис 11:4; Ис 51:16; Ос 6:5; Евр 4:12; Отк 1:16)3And he said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”[1] (Ис 44:23)4But I said, “I have labored in vain; I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity; yet surely my right is with the Lord, and my recompense with my God.” (Ис 50:6; Ис 53:10; Ис 65:23)5And now the Lord says, he who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob back to him; and that Israel might be gathered to him— for I am honored in the eyes of the Lord, and my God has become my strength— (Ис 49:1; Ис 50:4; Ис 52:13)6he says: “It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to bring back the preserved of Israel; I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.” (Пс 98:3; Ис 42:6; Д А 13:47)7Thus says the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel and his Holy One, to one deeply despised, abhorred by the nation, the servant of rulers: “Kings shall see and arise; princes, and they shall prostrate themselves; because of the Lord, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.” (Ис 48:17; Ис 49:1; Ис 49:23; Ис 50:6; Ис 53:3)
The Restoration of Israel
8Thus says the Lord: “In a time of favor I have answered you; in a day of salvation I have helped you; I will keep you and give you as a covenant to the people, to establish the land, to apportion the desolate heritages, (Пс 69:13; Ис 42:6; Ис 61:4; 2 Кор 6:2)9saying to the prisoners, ‘Come out,’ to those who are in darkness, ‘Appear.’ They shall feed along the ways; on all bare heights shall be their pasture; (Ис 41:18; Ис 42:7)10they shall not hunger or thirst, neither scorching wind nor sun shall strike them, for he who has pity on them will lead them, and by springs of water will guide them. (Ис 40:4)12Behold, these shall come from afar, and behold, these from the north and from the west,[2] and these from the land of Syene.”[3] (Пс 107:3; Ис 43:5)13Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth; break forth, O mountains, into singing! For the Lord has comforted his people and will have compassion on his afflicted. As I live, declares the Lord, you shall put them all on as an ornament; you shall bind them on as a bride does. (Чис 14:21; Ис 60:4; Ер 43:12; Ез 5:11)19“Surely your waste and your desolate places and your devastated land— surely now you will be too narrow for your inhabitants, and those who swallowed you up will be far away. (Зах 10:10)20The children of your bereavement will yet say in your ears: ‘The place is too narrow for me; make room for me to dwell in.’ (Ис 49:19; Ис 54:1)21Then you will say in your heart: ‘Who has borne me these? I was bereaved and barren, exiled and put away, but who has brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; from where have these come?’” (Ис 49:20)22Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and raise my signal to the peoples; and they shall bring your sons in their arms,[5] and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders. (Ис 11:12; Ис 14:2)23Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. With their faces to the ground they shall bow down to you, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who wait for me shall not be put to shame.” (Пс 25:3; Пс 72:9; Ис 40:31; Ис 60:3; Ис 60:14; Ис 60:16; Йоил 2:27; Мих 7:17)24Can the prey be taken from the mighty, or the captives of a tyrant[6] be rescued?25For thus says the Lord: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued, for I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children. (Мт 12:29; Лк 11:21)26I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh, and they shall be drunk with their own blood as with wine.
