23 Let their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see, and make their loins tremble continually. (Isa 6:10; Da 5:6; Na 2:10; Mt 13:14) 

New International Version

23 May their eyes be darkened so that they cannot see, and their backs be bent for ever.
