Psalm 107:11

English Standard Version

11 for they had rebelled against the words of God, and spurned the counsel of the Most High. (De 31:20; Ps 78:40; Ps 106:7; Ps 106:33; Ps 106:43; Pr 1:30; Pr 5:12; Pr 15:5; Lu 7:30) 

New International Version

11 because they rebelled against God’s commands and despised the plans of the Most High. 

New International Reader’s Version

11 That’s because they hadn’t obeyed the commands of God. They had refused to follow the plans of the Most High God.
