Proverbs 22:22

English Standard Version

22 Do not rob the poor, because he is poor, or crush the afflicted at the gate, (Ex 23:6; Job 5:4; Job 31:21; Zec 7:10; Mal 3:5) 

New International Version

22 Do not exploit the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court, 

New International Reader’s Version

22 Don’t take advantage of poor people just because they are poor. Don’t treat badly those who are in need by taking them to court.
