Proverbs 19:17

17 Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed. (De 15:7; Pr 12:14; Pr 22:9; Pr 28:27; Ec 11:1; Mt 10:42; Mt 25:40; Lu 6:38; 2Co 9:6; Heb 6:10) 

New International Version

17 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.

17 Anyone who is kind to poor people lends to the LORD. God will reward them for what they have done. 

King James Version

17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
