Proverbs 13:13

English Standard Version

13 Whoever despises the word[1] brings destruction on himself, but he who reveres the commandment[2] will be rewarded. (Nu 15:31; De 30:14; 2Ch 36:16; Pr 13:21; Pr 16:20; Pr 19:16) 

New International Version

13 Whoever scorns instruction will pay for it, but whoever respects a command is rewarded. 

New International Reader’s Version

13 Anyone who hates what they are taught will pay for it later. But a person who respects a command will be rewarded. 

King James Version

13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
