Nehemiah 6:12

English Standard Version

12 And I understood and saw that God had not sent him, but he had pronounced the prophecy against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. (Eze 13:17; Eze 13:22) 

New International Version

12 I realised that God had not sent him, but that he had prophesied against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 I realised that God hadn’t sent Shemaiah. Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. That’s why he had prophesied lies about me. 

King James Version

12 And, lo, I perceived that God had not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against me: for Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.
