2 saying, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose[1] and have come to worship him.” (Nu 24:17; Jer 23:5; Jer 30:9; Zec 9:9; Mt 8:2; Mt 27:11; Mt 27:37; Re 22:16) 

New International Version

2 and asked, ‘Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

2 They asked, ‘Where is the child who has been born to be king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose. Now we have come to worship him.’ 

King James Version

2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
