20 As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, (Isa 58:2; Eze 33:31; Mr 6:20; Joh 5:35) 

New International Version

20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 

New International Reader’s Version

20 The seed that fell on rocky places is like other people. They hear the message and at once receive it with joy. 

King James Version

20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
