39 And when he had entered, he said to them, “Why are you making a commotion and weeping? The child is not dead but sleeping.” (Joh 11:4; Joh 11:11; Ac 20:10)

39 He went in and said to them, ‘Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep.’

39 He went inside. Then he said to them, ‘Why all this confusion and sobbing? The child is not dead. She is only sleeping.’

39 And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
