2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.[1] (Mt 18:6; Mr 9:42) 

New International Version

2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied round their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. 

New International Reader’s Version

2 Suppose people lead one of these little ones to sin. It would be better for those people to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck. 

King James Version

2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
