Joshua 8:26

English Standard Version

26 But Joshua did not draw back his hand with which he stretched out the javelin until he had devoted all the inhabitants of Ai to destruction.[1] (Jos 8:18) 

New International Version

26 For Joshua did not draw back the hand that held out his javelin until he had destroyed[1] all who lived in Ai. 

New International Reader’s Version

26 Joshua continued to hold out his javelin towards Ai. He didn’t lower his hand until he and his men had totally destroyed everyone who lived there. 

King James Version

26 For Joshua drew not his hand back, wherewith he stretched out the spear, until he had utterly destroyed all the inhabitants of Ai.
