25 And all who fell that day, both men and women, were 12,000, all the people of Ai. 

New International Version

25 Twelve thousand men and women fell that day – all the people of Ai. 

New International Reader’s Version

25 The total number of men and women they killed that day was 12,000. The Israelites put to death all the people of Ai. 

King James Version

25 And so it was, that all that fell that day, both of men and women, were twelve thousand, even all the men of Ai.
