Jeremiah 37:13

13 When he was at the Benjamin Gate, a sentry there named Irijah the son of Shelemiah, son of Hananiah, seized Jeremiah the prophet, saying, “You are deserting to the Chaldeans.” (Jer 21:9; Jer 37:3; Jer 38:1; Jer 38:7; Jer 38:19; Jer 39:9; Jer 52:15; Zec 14:10)

New International Version

13 But when he reached the Benjamin Gate, the captain of the guard, whose name was Irijah son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah, arrested him and said, ‘You are deserting to the Babylonians!’

New International Reader’s Version

13 He got as far as the Benjamin Gate. But the captain of the guard arrested him. He said, ‘You are going over to the side of the Babylonians!’ The captain’s name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah. Shelemiah was the son of Hananiah.

King James Version

13 And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the ward was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet, saying, Thou fallest away to the Chaldeans.
