Jeremiah 14:5

5 Even the doe in the field forsakes her newborn fawn because there is no grass. (Job 39:1; Ps 29:9) 

New International Version

5 Even the doe in the field deserts her newborn fawn because there is no grass. 

New International Reader’s Version

5 Even the female deer in the fields desert their newborn fawns. There isn’t any grass to eat. 

King James Version

5 Yea, the hind also calved in the field, and forsook it , because there was no grass.
