Jeremiah 14:15

English Standard Version

15 Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name although I did not send them, and who say, ‘Sword and famine shall not come upon this land’: By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed. (Jer 14:12; Jer 14:14; Jer 23:34) 

New International Version

15 Therefore this is what the Lord says about the prophets who are prophesying in my name: I did not send them, yet they are saying, “No sword or famine will touch this land.” Those same prophets will perish by sword and famine. 

New International Reader’s Version

15 So here is what I am saying about the prophets who are prophesying in my name. I did not send them. But they are saying, “No war or hunger will come to this land.” Those same prophets will die because of war and hunger.
