Isaiah 40:9

English Standard Version

9 Go on up to a high mountain, O Zion, herald of good news;[1] lift up your voice with strength, O Jerusalem, herald of good news;[2] lift it up, fear not; say to the cities of Judah, “Behold your God!” (Isa 52:7)

New International Version

9 You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good news to Jerusalem,[1] lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, ‘Here is your God!’

New International Reader’s Version

9 Zion, you are bringing good news to your people. Go up on a high mountain and announce it. Jerusalem, you are bringing good news to them. Shout the message loudly. Shout it out loud. Don’t be afraid. Say to the towns of Judah, ‘Your God is coming!’

King James Version

9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
