Isaiah 30:1

English Standard Version

1 “Ah, stubborn children,” declares the Lord, “who carry out a plan, but not mine, and who make an alliance,[1] but not of my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin; (Isa 1:2; Isa 1:4; Isa 25:7; Isa 29:15) 

New International Version

1 ‘Woe to the obstinate children,’ declares the Lord, ‘to those who carry out plans that are not mine, forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit, heaping sin upon sin; 

New International Reader’s Version

1 ‘How terrible it will be for these stubborn children of mine!’ announces the LORD. ‘How terrible for those who carry out plans that did not come from me! Their agreement with Egypt did not come from my Spirit. So they pile up one sin on top of another. 

King James Version

1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:
