Isaiah 24:8

English Standard Version

8 The mirth of the tambourines is stilled, the noise of the jubilant has ceased, the mirth of the lyre is stilled. (Jer 7:34; Ho 2:11; Am 8:10) 

New International Version

8 The joyful tambourines are stilled, the noise of the revellers has stopped, the joyful harp is silent. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 The happy sounds of tambourines will be gone. The noise of those who enjoy wild parties will stop. The joyful music of harps will become silent. 

King James Version

8 The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.
