Hosea 11:4

English Standard Version

4 I led them with cords of kindness,[1] with the bands of love, and I became to them as one who eases the yoke on their jaws, and I bent down to them and fed them. (Le 26:13; Ps 78:24; Jer 31:3; Joh 6:44; Joh 12:32) 

New International Version

4 I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love. To them I was like one who lifts a little child to the cheek, and I bent down to feed them. 

New International Reader’s Version

4 I led them with kindness and love. I was to them like a person who lifts a little child to their cheek. I bent down and fed them. 

King James Version

4 I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.
