Hebrews 4:3

English Standard Version

3 For we who have believed enter that rest, as he has said, “As I swore in my wrath, ‘They shall not enter my rest,’” although his works were finished from the foundation of the world. (Ps 95:11; Heb 3:11) 

New International Version

3 Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said, ‘So I declared on oath in my anger, “They shall never enter my rest.” ’[1] And yet his works have been finished since the creation of the world. (Ps 95:11) 

New International Reader’s Version

3 Now we who have believed enjoy that rest. God said, ‘When I was angry, I made a promise. I said, “They will never enjoy the rest I planned for them.” ’ Ever since God created the world, his works have been finished. (Ps 95:11) 

King James Version

3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
