6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. (1Ch 28:9; Jer 29:12; Joh 4:24) 

New International Version

6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 Without faith it is impossible to please God. Those who come to God must believe that he exists. And they must believe that he rewards those who look to him. 

King James Version

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
