2 And when Jacob saw them he said, “This is God’s camp!” So he called the name of that place Mahanaim.[1] (Jos 5:14; Jos 21:38; 2Sa 2:8; 2Sa 17:24; 2Sa 17:27; 1Ki 2:8; Lu 2:13) 

New International Version

2 When Jacob saw them, he said, ‘This is the camp of God!’ So he named that place Mahanaim.[1] 

New International Reader’s Version

2 Jacob saw them. He said, ‘This is the army of God!’ So he named that place Mahanaim. 

King James Version

2 And when Jacob saw them, he said, This is God' host: and he called the name of that place Mahanaim.
