18 So I poured out my wrath upon them for the blood that they had shed in the land, for the idols with which they had defiled it. (Eze 5:11; Eze 7:8; Eze 16:36; Eze 22:3) 

New International Version

18 So I poured out my wrath on them because they had shed blood in the land and because they had defiled it with their idols. 

New International Reader’s Version

18 They spilled people’s blood in the land. They made the land “unclean” by worshipping other gods. So I poured out my great anger on them.
