Ezekiel 36:17

English Standard Version

17 “Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds. Their ways before me were like the uncleanness of a woman in her menstrual impurity. (Le 18:19; Le 18:25; Eze 2:1) 

New International Version

17 ‘Son of man, when the people of Israel were living in their own land, they defiled it by their conduct and their actions. Their conduct was like a woman’s monthly uncleanness in my sight. 

New International Reader’s Version

17 ‘Son of man, the people of Israel used to live in their own land. But they made it “unclean” because of how they acted and the way they lived. To me they were “unclean” like a woman having her monthly period. 

King James Version

17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.
