Deuteronomy 5:29

English Standard Version

29 Oh that they had such a heart as this always, to fear me and to keep all my commandments, that it might go well with them and with their descendants[1] forever! (De 4:40; De 32:29; Ps 81:13; Isa 48:18; Mt 23:37; Lu 19:42) 

New International Version

29 Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children for ever! 

New International Reader’s Version

29 But I wish they would always have respect for me in their hearts. I wish they would always obey all my commands. Then things would go well with them and their children for ever. 

King James Version

29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
