Deuteronomy 24:15

English Standard Version

15 You shall give him his wages on the same day, before the sun sets (for he is poor and counts on it), lest he cry against you to the Lord, and you be guilty of sin. (Le 19:13; De 15:9; Jer 22:13; Jas 5:4) 

New International Version

15 Pay them their wages each day before sunset, because they are poor and are counting on it. Otherwise they may cry to the Lord against you, and you will be guilty of sin. 

New International Reader’s Version

15 Give them their pay every day. They are poor and are counting on it. If you don’t pay them, they might cry out to the LORD against you. Then you will be guilty of committing a sin. 

King James Version

15 At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.
