Acts 4:2

English Standard Version

2 greatly annoyed because they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection from the dead. (Ac 3:15; Ac 17:18) 

New International Version

2 They were greatly disturbed because the apostles were teaching the people, proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead. 

New International Reader’s Version

2 They were very upset by what the apostles were teaching the people. The apostles were saying that people can be raised from the dead. They said this can happen because Jesus rose from the dead. 

King James Version

2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
