2 Kings 9:3

English Standard Version

3 Then take the flask of oil and pour it on his head and say, ‘Thus says the Lord, I anoint you king over Israel.’ Then open the door and flee; do not linger.” (1Ki 19:16; 2Ch 22:7) 

New International Version

3 Then take the flask and pour the oil on his head and declare, “This is what the Lord says: I anoint you king over Israel.” Then open the door and run; don’t delay!’ 

New International Reader’s Version

3 Then get the bottle. Pour the oil on his head. Announce to him, “The LORD says, ‘I anoint you as king over Israel.’ ” After that, open the door and run away. Do it quickly!’ 

King James Version

3 Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.
