3 And the sons of the prophets who were in Bethel came out to Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that today the Lord will take away your master from over you?” And he said, “Yes, I know it; keep quiet.” (1Ki 20:35; 2Ki 4:1; 2Ki 4:38; 2Ki 5:22; 2Ki 6:1; 2Ki 9:1)

3 The company of the prophets at Bethel came out to Elisha and asked, ‘Do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you today?’ ‘Yes, I know,’ Elisha replied, ‘so be quiet.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

3 There was a group of prophets at Bethel. They came out to where Elisha was. They asked him, ‘Do you know what the LORD is going to do? He’s going to take your master away from you today.’ ‘Yes, I know,’ Elisha replied. ‘So be quiet.’ 

King James Version

3 And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it ; hold ye your peace.
