English Standard Version

6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (Ge 1:3; 2Co 4:4; 2Pe 1:19) 

New International Version

6 For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. (Ge 1:3) 

New International Reader’s Version

6 God said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness.’ He made his light shine in our hearts. His light gives us the light to know God’s glory. His glory is shown in the face of Christ. (Ge 1:3) 

King James Version

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
