English Standard Version

3 Then the king of Egypt deposed him in Jerusalem and laid on the land a tribute of a hundred talents of silver and a talent[1] of gold. (De 22:19)

New International Version

3 The king of Egypt dethroned him in Jerusalem and imposed on Judah a levy of a hundred talents[1] of silver and a talent[2] of gold.

New International Reader’s Version

3 The king of Egypt removed him from his throne in Jerusalem. The king of Egypt made the people of Judah pay him a huge tax. The tax was almost 4 tonnes of silver and 36 kilograms of gold.

King James Version

3 And the king of Egypt put him down at Jerusalem, and condemned the land in an hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
