15 The Lord, the God of their fathers, sent persistently to them by his messengers, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place. (Jer 7:13; Jer 7:25; Jer 11:7; Jer 25:3; Jer 26:5; Jer 29:19; Jer 32:33; Jer 35:15; Jer 44:4) 

New International Version

15 The Lord, the God of their ancestors, sent word to them through his messengers again and again, because he had pity on his people and on his dwelling-place. 

New International Reader’s Version

15 The LORD, the God of Israel, sent word to his people through his messengers. He sent it to them again and again. He took pity on his people. He also took pity on the temple where he lived.
