8 Were not the Ethiopians and the Libyans a huge army with very many chariots and horsemen? Yet because you relied on the Lord, he gave them into your hand. (2Ch 12:3; 2Ch 13:16; 2Ch 13:18; 2Ch 14:9) 

New International Version

8 Were not the Cushites[1] and Libyans a mighty army with great numbers of chariots and horsemen[2]? Yet when you relied on the Lord, he delivered them into your hand. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 The people of Cush and Libya had a strong army. They had large numbers of chariots and horsemen. But you trusted in the LORD. So he handed them over to you. 

King James Version

8 Were not the Ethiopians and the Lubims a huge host, with very many chariots and horsemen? yet, because thou didst rely on the LORD, he delivered them into thine hand.
