English Standard Version

5 In those times there was no peace to him who went out or to him who came in, for great disturbances afflicted all the inhabitants of the lands. (Jud 5:6) 

New International Version

5 In those days it was not safe to travel about, for all the inhabitants of the lands were in great turmoil. 

New International Reader’s Version

5 In those days it wasn’t safe to travel around. The people who lived in all the areas of the land were having a lot of trouble. 

King James Version

5 And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.
