25 And when they came down from the high place into the city, a bed was spread for Saul on the roof, and he lay down to sleep.[1] (De 22:8; 2Sa 11:2; 2Sa 16:22; Ne 8:16; Mt 24:17; Ac 10:9) 

New International Version

25 After they came down from the high place to the town, Samuel talked with Saul on the roof of his house. 

New International Reader’s Version

25 They came down from the high place to the town. After that, Samuel talked with Saul on the roof of Samuel’s house. 

King James Version

25 And when they were come down from the high place into the city, Samuel communed with Saul upon the top of the house.
