English Standard Version

35 And I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who shall do according to what is in my heart and in my mind. And I will build him a sure house, and he shall go in and out before my anointed forever. (1Sa 25:28; 2Sa 7:11; 2Sa 7:27; 2Sa 22:51; 1Ki 2:35; 1Ki 11:38; 1Ch 29:22; Ps 18:50; Ps 89:20) 

New International Version

35 I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his priestly house, and they will minister before my anointed one always. 

New International Reader’s Version

35 I will raise up for myself a faithful priest. He will do what my heart and mind want him to do. I will make his family line of priests very secure. They will always serve as priests to my anointed king. 

King James Version

35 And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.
