30 Then this thing became a sin, for the people went as far as Dan to be before one.[1] (1Ki 13:34; 2Ki 17:21) 

New International Version

30 And this thing became a sin; the people came to worship the one at Bethel and went as far as Dan to worship the other.[1] 

New International Reader’s Version

30 What Jeroboam did was sinful. And it caused Israel to sin. The people came to worship the statue at Bethel. They went all the way to Dan to worship the statue that was there. 

King James Version

30 And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.
